| Buffalo Connection | Auburn, AL | |
|
Buffalo Connection has a pretty wide selection of wings. They
also have chicken fingers, fried catfish nuggets, etc. And great
drink specials.

| Guthrie's of Auburn | Auburn, AL | |
|
I LOVE Guthrie's! The food is excellent and usually pretty fast.
However, the staff is usually made up of college kids who could
care less about their job. So if you go, be prepared for a cold reception,
but don't worry, it's great comfort food!

| Mc Alisters Gourmet Deli | Auburn, AL | |
|
McAlister's is famous for it's sweet tea. My husband and I have
gone there just for a glass in the past. Their menu is huge. They
have a huge selection of some really great sanswiches: clubs,
roast beef, turkey melt, etc. They also have some huge potatoes--I
mean these things must be genetically mutated--that can be topped
with chili, cheese, veggies, bacon, etc. They also have soup
(never tried it) and awesome desserts. The sandwiches come with
chips or potato salad and a mint.

| Noodles Restaurant | Auburn, AL | |
|
If you're looking for a great Italian restaurant that's really
authentic, Noodles is the place. They have a full service bar
and unique dining area, including a place for banquets. Their
menu includes traditional pastas (alfredo, meatballs, etc)
as well as sandwiches and pizza (the prosciutto is to-die-for).
They also have some great desserts--I highly recommend the Tiramisu.
Only one problem--parking. It's located in downtown Auburn
and parking is extremely limited, especially on the weekend.

| Shogun Japanese Steakhouse | Auburn, AL | |
|
Shogun is a really great Japanese restaurant. The food is excellent,
and you get the added benefit of having it prepared in front of
you. There are a few problems, though. The place is constantly
packed. The average wait time is about 45 minutes. Also, unless
you have a group of six or more, you are going to be sitting at a table
with complete strangers. Sometimes you get a great group of folks
and everyone has fun, other times you get stuck next to the three
year old who throws food, or the couple who started fighting on
the way and are determined to ruin everyone else's dinner. Finally,
the drinks are really expensive--they're good, but I'm not so
sure they're worth it (and the bar tender's a jerk). My husband
and I go there a lot despite the foregoing, and we love it.

| Tenda Chick | Auburn, AL | |
|
I'm chicken finger fan, but I only go to Tenda Chick when I have
to. They're pretty decent, but the atmosphere leaves something
to be desired. They do have a couple of choices on the menu, and
they bring the food to your table, but... I'm loyal to Guthrie's.

| Terra Cotta Cafe' | Auburn, AL | |
|
If you're looking for a unique place to have lunch or dinner, and
don't mind laying down a few bucks to do it, Terra Cotta's your
place. It's located in an old house and has a really interesting
atmosphere. The food is really outstanding, but pricey. They
have a separate lunch and dinner menu, and it changes by season.
I highly recommend the chicken croissant if you're going for
lunch!

| Touch Down's Pub N Eatery | Auburn, AL | |
|
I've never been inside Touchdown's, but I've eaten their food
several times. They are one of the few restaurants in Auburn that
actually delivers. Whenever we order from there we get prompt,
friendly service and the food is warm and good. I have no complaints!

| Guthrie's To Go | Auburn, AL | |
|
This place is the best if you're hungry and need to get something
fairly quickly. You can't eat in, but the service is usually very
good and very fast. Chicken fingers can't be beat!
And if you want to substitute, they don't mind and get it right
every time.

| Graffiti Grill | Auburn, AL | |
|
This place has some of the best home-cooked meals in Auburn. They
change their menu daily, and they usually offer three meats and
about ten veggies to choose from. It's always hot and VERY good.
If you plan on going for dinner, get there early because they will
run out of a lot of food by 7.

| Buffalo's American Grille | Auburn, AL | |
|
I've never eaten in the restaurant part, but the bar is a great
place to eat, drink, and hang out. They have dart boards and a pool
table, and interactive trivia games at night. Menu is typical
wings and such.

| Breeze Way | Auburn, AL | |
|
This is yet another chicken finger place, but they have a huge
menu and they also serve beer! Servers aren't all that friendly,
but they have a cool system of telling the servers whose order
is whose...

| Boardwalk Grill | Auburn, AL | |
|
I was not impressed with Boardwalk. Their menu looked really
good, they have fish and wings and pasta, but the food was disappointing.
The seating was uncomfortable, and the bar was very smokey.
