ONe of my favourite places here. Monroe cafe has wonderful breakfasts, all day long. their homemade soups are out of this world too. Very warm and friendly atmosphere and the staff is very polite and curtious.I go to Monroe 3 times a week and have breakfast there 2 times a week.

Wonderful noodle dishes, and their seasonings really wake up your mouth. Good service and pretty surroundings make this restraunt a nice place for a family get together. Prices are fair, and we always leave a good tip.

Nice restraunt, great staff but I found there food was not that good quality. too much salt on certain items.salty soups..portions too small.

We recently tried this place out, and found that the portions were not worth the price. They did not warn you about how spicy some of their items are too. I got sick half hour after eating there. Nicely decorated but I would not go back there.

Wonderful Mochas and pastries, just the perfect place to stop for that caffein craving.Easy drive through, easy back on street.

Sandwiches of many types, desserts that are mouth watering, friendly staff, clean place. would recommend it.

James Bay Tearoom is one of my favourite places in Victoria(where I was born) Excellent british food, tempting desserts. wonderful place to come to be with friends.

A good place to eat as long as you eat outside, inside restraunt area very dirty. You can sit and look across the street at Beacon Hill park.
And feed the seagulls and sparrows while you are eating your snack.

Wonderful place to eat. I have spent many evenings there with friends and family. Wonderful menu full of tempting dishes. Prices are good, service is excellent too. Highly recommend this one.

Oh, wonderful pastries for everyones taste, yummy little petti fours, wonderful cheescake, and tea time is one of my favourite times there, homemade soup that will make your mouth water for more.

Lamb is one of the favourite dishes here. wonderful atmoshphere, with entertainment. Lots of their dishes are made with filo pastry, a wonderful light pastry that melts in your mouth. they have a delightful combo plate with all kinds of yummy things to enjoy.

Your average burger and fries place. I used to work there in 1974, so I am familiar with their menu. Plain old sandwiches, nothing special at all. Roudy group of customers frequent this place. bad part of Victoria too.

For the best assortment of beers and ales, try this one out. Food is out of this world, wonderful staff helps you every minute you are there. Entertainment too. Very friendly place.

Oh a wonderful meeting place..wonderful food. tempting dishes and desserts. Sit outside and watch the cars go by, and watch accross the street as people walk around Chinatown.

mmm curry dishes to die for..what a wonderful place to enjoy east indian dishes. very clean and wonderfully designed restraunt.

The Halibut is the best on the island. you can inhale the malt vinegar as folks use it by the gallon on their fries.
