| Sarento's | Honolulu, HI | |

Excellent with an excellent view. It is located on the top of the
Ilikai Hotel. On one side you see the beautiful lights of Waikiki
and on the other side you can watch a beautiful sunset. Pricing
is high but food and service is excellent.

| Verbano Italiano Ristorante | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Located on the top of the hill in Kaimuki. This ristorante is kind
of nice. It is not a large restaurant but usually hangs art work
of local artist on the walls. The food is very good. Does not have
a great atmosphere but OK.

| Suke Roku | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Suke Roku is a hidden away little Ramen (Japenese Noddle) Place.
Pricing is very good. Proportions are excellent. The taste is
really good. I think this is one of the best tasting little ramen
shops in Honolulu. They have just opened. They on Keeaumoku St.
fronting the Sam Sung shopping mall. Careful you will miss it
if you bink your eye.
I think the shumai is the "best" I have ever tasted. A real must for a low cost lunch or diner. |

| Yohei Sushi Restaurant | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Yohei is a very popular Sushi Restaurant and does an excellent
job with sushi. This is located off of Dillingham Blvd and across
from HCC and next to the canal. The restaurant seats about 10-15
on the counter and 30 on the tables. Sometimes very crowded.

| Wasabi Bistro | Honolulu, HI | |
|
I haven't visited this resaurant in a while. It was very comfortable
and the food was good. I don't recall the pricing since it was a
while ago that I visited them. The restaurant is located on the
corner next to Kilohana Square. Parking is OK. Never had a problem
finding parking.

| Genki Sushi Hawaii | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Sushi is not the greatest but the entertainment of the plates
traveling around and seeing the other customers pick the different
platters is interesting. Sometime crowded but often easy to
get in because the sushi just keeps on coming and you are not waiting
for the ordering. Good place to take a family. Inexpensive compared
to other sushi places.

| Tanaka of Tokyo Restaurant | Honolulu, HI | |
|
I am not sure that the address is correct. I have visited the resaurant
in the Ilikai many times. This is an entertaining restaurant.
The food is pretty good and the pricing is OK. The only thing that
bothers me, is the chefs are usually not Japanese.

| Naniwa-Ya Japanese Seafood | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Naniwa-Ya is a very good Japanese restaurant. It really has some
real authentic taste. This restaurant is located in the Royal
Hawaiian Shopping Center and on the far Diamond Head end of the
Center. It is rather large and is frequently visited by Japanese
tourist. I have always found the food good.

| John Dominis Restaurant | Honolulu, HI | |
|
I think the reviewers prior to me are underestimating the pricing.
This restaurant is pretty pricy. In fact, I am being very conservative
with my pricing. Be careful when you order the lobster by the lb.
I have known people ending up paying over $300 for a lobster plate
without being told that it would cost that much.
The food is excellent and the service is very good. The atmosphere is one of the best in Honolulu. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant.... just be careful of what you order. Check your prices first. |

| Big Kahuna Pizza | Honolulu, HI | |
|
This is the Pizza place and the place to order some rather large
Kalua pig sandwiches. The sandwiches could feed two and the garlic
cheese balls are a must. The sodas are huge and the people are just
great. So if you are ever in the airport area then you must try to
stop by. Look for the green house on the side of the road with surf
boards on the fence. This is the restaurant of Hawaii's GREAT
Kahuna Surfer....

||
| Capricciosa | Honolulu, HI | |
|
This is a restaurant for the family. The portions are large and
is served family size where everyone takes from a common bowl.
Service is excellent and so is the food. Not a dress up restaurant....
just a real family style.

||
| Don Ho's Island Grill | Honolulu, HI | |
|
This is an excellent location to take visitors. The Aloha Tower
has many shops and this restaurant lends to the Hawaiian atmosphere
of local entertainment. The food is good and the entertainment
is excellent.
|
||
| Gordon Biersch Brewery Rstrnt | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Actually I rarely eat there as a restaurant. I go there for the
drinks and entertainment along with the food. The garlic fries
are really good and so are the pizza pupu's. The Aloha Tower adds
to the atmosphere and the boats on the water really makes you feel
like you are in Hawaii...

| Panda Cuisine | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Dim Sum.... This is a real famous Dim Sum restaurant in Honolulu.
Want a quick meal for lunch..... this is really where you can come.
The food is good and the service is like other Dim Sum places....
fast.
They are located about a block from Ala Moana Shopping Center on Keeaumoku street. You will find them on the right side as you go towards the mountains. |
||
| La Mer | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Halekulani is one of the finest hotels in Hawaii. And along with
the Hotel is this restaurant. This is one of the finest hotel restaurants
in the world. It has gotten awards for being such a restaurant.
You can be sure that the food is excellent. The pricing is high
but worth the dining experience of a first class restaurant.

||
| Scoozee's | Honolulu, HI | |
|
This is the place that I usually will go for a lunch. This place
has a good atmosphere and a good menu. Prices are reasonable the
the food is excellent. Recommended for a business lunch.
|
||
| Hale Vietnam Restaurant | Honolulu, HI | |
|
This is one of the most popular Vietnamese Restaurants for tourist.
The food is very good and reasonable. If you go there for lunch
be prepared to wait for a short time. This is usually a little crowded.
Wait is never more than 15 min. This considered by may as the best
in Honolulu for authentic Vietnamese food.
|
||
| Liliha Bakery | Honolulu, HI | |
|
This is the place for breakfast if you like sausage, eggs and fried
potatos. The Bakery is good. The seating is very limited, so do
NOT go with a crowd. You will be lucky to get a seat side by side.
Counter space is limited. Seems like this place has been here
since the begining of Honolulu.
|
||
| Harbor Pub & Pizza | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Nachos are good but the Pizza here is one of the best in Honolulu.
Hidden away but well known for the Pizza. This PUB is a hangout
for the boat owners and they rarely share the fact that the Pizza
here is REALLY good.
Try it... You will not regret it. |
||
| 3660 On the Rise | Honolulu, HI | |
|
Food is really good. Actually if you like the Kakaako Kitchen
food it from the same roots. You will find this a pretty good taste
but the noise in the restaurant is quite high. The walls seem to
be really hard and so the sounds are like a cafeteria.
