It his one of the best restaurant i ever went. This is a real fine
dining with a real gourmet dishes.I became edicted and i went
already few times, they specialised in fish, meat and vegetarian.
Service and presentation are great. This restaurant also rated
one of the best in
the country by ZAGET food critics book.
prices are about 40 to 50 dollars per person and its realy not much
for this kind of food.
owners are very friendly.
nice place to go for a first date, birthdays and special
treat.

| French Country Cafe | Beverly Hills, CA | |
|
A small but very charming space decorated with hand painted tiles
with scenes of Provence. Staff is prompt and friendly. Food is
delicious and presented well.
I had Paillard of chicken with mushroom sauce served with very
smooth mashed potatoes and green beans. Apricot and almond tart
for desert freshly made and a good sized portion.. There is a small
wine list reasonably priced.

| Pasta Cafe Italian Grill | Rio Rancho, NM | |
|
The best restaurant in Rio Rancho! I know anyone familiar with
the area is thinking "that's not saying much!" Hold on though,
it's the best restaurant in Rio Rancho, and even more, it's the
best Italian food in the state! The food is spectacular, the service
is ALWAYS outstanding, and the atmosphere is worth going out
of your way. Personally, just as a suggestion when there, start
with a bottle of the Luna di Luna Merlot/Cabernet (60-40), I understand
it is exclusive to Pasta Cafe, & the Fried Ravioli appetizer,
it's served covered in a magnificent, Marsala cream sauce, created
by one of the immpeccable chefs. Salads? Tough decision, there
dressings are all home-made and wonderful, just make sure you
leave plenty of room for dessert! As far as the meals go... You
can't go wrong with anything available from their extensive
menu. (if on the off chance nothing quite catches your eye, ask
your server for a suggestion, or Owner Joe, who's frequently
there, they are always more than happy to find something not on
the menu, or more in line with your tastes.) I will however say,
i've loved everything i've ever tried there, but my favorite
has got to be the Shrimp Francese, THE BEST! Now the sinful part,
Real, fresh made, (usually by the owner's father) honest-to-god,
Cannoli. It's very rich, and i'm sure has 9 gazilion calories,
but who cares!?! One Cannoli, Would be worth a month on the treadmill!
By now you'll be stuffed full of the best meal you've had in a LONG
time, and with the deserving tip, can leave for probably, $70-$80.
(2 people with wine, appetizer, and dessert.) which is well worth
it, the only trouble will be leaving itself, trust me you wont
want to, & the staff would never let you know if you were keeping
them. It is sincerely the best dining in New Mexico, you just might
not find better this side of Italy!

| Centrella Bistro and Cafe | Half Moon Bay, CA | |
|
"This vast warehouse-sized space was long used for processing
and shipping artichokes and Brussels sprouts, but all that really
remains of the original structure (besides the veggies on the
menu) are the rustic wood trusses and some industrial-looking
ventilators on the roof. The rest is natural stone, rich wood
and warm colors, plus a big fireplace and a luscious exehibition
kitchen." More about the food to follow...

| Valhalla Restaurant | Sausalito, CA | |
|
"Sleek and suburban-comfortable, with a spacious bar and lounge
adjoining a generously proportioned dining room, this freshly
renovated Old Town (Sausalito) landmark boasts spectactacular
Bay views, from the sparkiling Bay Bridge to the sweeping light
of lonely Alcatraz." More about the food to follow...

| Sociale | San Francisco, CA | |
|
A New Californian/Italian offering on a very toney stretch of
Sacramento near Presidio Heigths. Looks like a winner, if they
can survive until the economy recovers and more people feel like
spending a few dollars for dinner out. Let's all hold a good thought
for this wonderful new place...

| Martini House | Saint Helena, CA | |
|
"Designer/restauranteur Pat Kuleto (Farallon, Boulevard,
Jardiniere) has turned a beautiful old Craftsman house in St.
Helena into a show-stopping restaurant. Spread out over three
levels, the warm, welcoming space has all the trappings of a high-end
lodge, from the thre fireplaces to the posh-rustic bar." The
Chef is Todd Humpries (late of Greystone at the CIA and San Franciso'c
Campton Place), so the food is bound to be wonderful. Stay tuned
for a review about the food...

| Diamond Daves | Waterloo, IA | |
|
The service was great, the chips and salsa great, the drinks great,
but the food sucked. It's worst than frozen microwaved food.
When we arived four girls were in the service station area, and
a guy was running around waiting on everyone. He sat us and got
our drinks right away. Took our order and was getting refills
right when we needed him. As we were sitting there I noticed one
of the four girls that never left the wait station eating whip
cream on a straw and licking it off and putting new whip cream on
the same straw. Good thing I didn't getting anything with whip
cream. Our meals arrived and my food was ice cold. I didn't want
to mess with it so I took it home. I ate it when I got home and it was
once again I'll say, worst than frozen microwaved food. I will
not be returning there for dinner or anything with whip cream.

| Ranch Wagon | Dallas, PA | |
|
Ranch Wagon is a great place to eat if you are in the mood for foot
long hot dogs or barbeques. They still have old fashioned carhop
service, which the kids will think is a lot of fun. They'll take
your order and bring your food to you on a tray which hooks in your
window. Or you could always go up to the window and order it yourself,
but that's no fun!! The foot longs are excellent - try them with
everything! The fries tend to get cold quickly. Keep that in mind
if you are taking your order home. If you are eating there around
dinner or later in the summer months, I suggest calling your order
in ahead. The same if you are in a hurry, because they aren't the
quickest place to eat.

Excellent food! I haven't tasted a dish I didn't like. Try the
chichen wings during Sunday afternoon football party, some
of the best I've had.

| Bistort Lepic | Washington, District of Columbia | |
|
Wonderful mussel soup to start with. Very nice menu that lets
you eat lightly or hearty. I especially enjoy the grilled trout.
If you like liver (I don't but my father in law does) you can get
a thick cut with olives, garlic and capers that is very good. Lots
of classic bistro dishes. Crowded at lunch or dinner. Service
is friendly (even flirtatious) and a nice wine list. You can even
get a nice Chateauneuf-du-Pape by the glass. Well worth a visit.

| Red Ginger | Washington, District of Columbia | |
|
Nice small storefront bistro that can be crowded with good cause.
Stick with the fish and seafood and you will have a wonderful meal.
Steamed shrimp with ginger and hot sauce, mussels , etc. Island
food with a twist (a twist of ginger?)

| Heritage India | Washington, District of Columbia | |
|
Good Indian food in a very pretty setting. Service is impecable.
The lamb vindaloo will sear your tongue, just like it's supposed
to. The grilled prawns are tender and smoky and wonderful. Try
the baked green bell pepper with potatos, cashews, peas, raisins
and pomegranate seeds. the black lentals with spinich and cottage
cheese is good too. Handsome place that will give you a meal to
remember without breaking the bank.

||
| Palena | Washington, District of Columbia | |
|
An attractive dining room woned by two former White House chefs.
The cooking is innovative and intersting. Try the roasted mussels
in curry bisque, the salads, or the ravioli. The deserts are a
star. the lime tartlet is tangy and sweet and just right. The wine
list is very good and the service is discrete, efficient, and
intellegent. A very nice meal.

| Toscanini | Boca Raton, FL | |
|
The restaurant has a great buffet for lunch for only $5.95. The
foccaccia bread that they put on the table for dinner is fresh
and homemade. They have early bird dinners from 4 to 7 in the evening.
We had chicken marsala which was very tender and the sauce was
great. The other special was the seafood Toscanini which comes
with a white or red sauce. The wait staff is very friendly and very
courteous. It is a family owned restaurant. They also had a deal
on the wine which was buy one and get one free. For dessert, we had
the spumoni and the sugar-free mocha wedge.

| The Q River Bar and Grill | Wallingford, CT | |
|
This is the most recent of a sequence of name changes at this same
location. The atmosphere is good on the banks of the Quinnipiac
River. We have been there twice, once a Friday and once a Saturday
night and although the restaurant was quite full, we were able
to be seated immediately. It is somewhat kid friendly with sheets
of brown paper for tablecloths supplied with crayons and a checkerboard
and checker pieces on each table. Very informal. Drinks average,
limited varieties. Food is primarily pub type, sandwiches,
soups, salads, ribs, etc. There are nightly specials on which
I cannot comment as we did not partake. Also full meals in the $15-$18
range which, considering the informality of the place is not
what I would order here. This is another of the apparently growing
number of places which feels it is a warm fuzzy to have the wait
staff address all patrons as "guys" regardless of their sex,
age, or status. Knock it off!!!

| The :oyster House | Olympia, WA | |
|
Great food, Great atmosphere and wonderful outdoor dining in
summer. Very good service and the best servers in town. Has great
history, Most likely oldest seafod restaruant in the state of
WA. Completely remodeled a fun friendly place with great food.
Olympia Oysters are there signature item as they were shucked
right on the property since the turn of the century. One good thing
is the all around great menu not just seafood but great Salads,
Steaks,
Pasta and lots of fresh seafood. Must be on your list for Olympia.

The service is excellent! The best all around restaurant.

Best food of all fast food restaurants. Try the mushroom-swiss
burger. Always clean & neat.

| Posh Bagel | Mountain View, CA | |
|
The Posh Bagel at Mountain View is my wife's favorite place to
get bagels. They steam their bagels instead of boiling them and
the result is a delicious range of bagels that are extremely satisfying.
Their turkey club bagel sandwich is a personal favorite.
