| Captain Bob's BBQ & Seafood | Hertford, NC | |
|
Captain Bob's is a good family restaurant, specializing in Bar-be-que
and seafood. The hush puppies are delicious ( a requirement of
mine for a good bbq joint), and the waitstaff is friendly and professional.

| Pyewacket Restaurant | Chapel Hill, NC | |
|
I like this restaurant, not only because my brother used to be
the cook, but it has great food. I am always satisfied with the
service and quality of the meals.

| Waterman's Grill | Edenton, NC | |
|
The two best things about this restaurant are the atmosphere
and the desserts! It's a quaint two story restaurant with friendly
servers and great lighting. After an unusually large meal, you
can always stroll down by the river before returning for another
piece of cake!

| Mamasita's | Elizabeth City, NC | |
|
A must for any lover of Mexican food in the Elizabeth City area.
This restaurant has everything you could want, including a margarita
to go with it! And how can you beat the chips and salsa to accompany
your meal.

| Western Steer | Elizabeth City, NC | |
|
The buffet is usually lacking in taste. Everything is bland,
including the desserts. Good if your hungry, bad if you like food.

| Andy's Cheesesteaks & Burgers | Greenville, NC | |
|
I love Andy's. Give me an Andy's Cheesesteak and some onion rings
and I am happy everyday! Personally, I have never tried the burgers
because the cheesesteaks are too wonderful to pass up. :)

| Parkers Barbecue Restaurant | Greenville, NC | |
|
Parker's always has great hush puppies. The cole slaw is also
to die for. I wish Parker's had stock-I would definately invest.

||
| Sappari Japanese Steak House | Greenville, NC | |
|
Because there are so few of these types of resturants in the area,
I would have to recommend this one. The food is, of course, kinda
pricey, but hey-you're eating steak! I always get a kick out of
watching the chef's prepare before my eyes. Don't forget to ask
for the white sauce, my favorite.

| Parkers Barbecue Restaurant | Greenville, NC | |
|
I prefer this Parker's Bar-be-que because it actually has waiters
to serve you (compared to the other Parker's where you wait in
a line to order), and my motto is "If you're gonna eat out, have
someone serve you." Hush puppies are outstanding, of course,
and everything else is just as delicious.

| Boli's 5th Street Pizzeria | Greenville, NC | |
|
A great place for music on Tuesday nights! A close intimate setting,
with great drink specials and a friendly atmosphere. The subs
are great and the pizza is even better. In close proximity to the
university, a great place for a cheap meal for local college kids.
|
||
| Chico's Mexican Restaurant | Greenville, NC | |
|
Tuesdays and Thursdays are margarita nights with half priced
margaritas! The salsa is authentic but the chips are usually
cold. A great atmosphere, but oddly enough, plays 80's music.
Close to campus, with great lunch specials.

||
| El Ranchido Mexican Restaurant | Greenville, NC | |
|
The food is okay, but the staff is great. The last time I went there
my waiter made me a balloon animal- a dog we named after a dirty
Spanish word. :) For a pretty good meal, but a great time, check
this place out!

| Courtyard Tavern | Greenville, NC | |
|
I am always satisfied with the food at Courtyard. The servers
are always friendly and informative. The ambience is wonderful,
with an outside courtyard to offer. The servings are gracious
and tasty. There is even a scheduled night for live bands.

||
| Cubbie's | Greenville, NC | |
|
This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Greenville. As a poor
college student, I have to live on a budget-Cubbie's is perfect.
The burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches...everything is
superb. But the best has got to be their hush puppies! And I am a
hush puppy critic. Bottled beer for those hard working execs
on their lunch break, and student specials for those like me are
available everyday. Located downtown, it is a great place to
stop after a long day of shopping.
|
||
| Monksters Olde Fashion Grill | Greenville, NC | |
|
Another burger joint? But this one is great! There is even a bar
connected to the restaurant to complement the meal. The jalapeno
poppers are great, but so are the burgers, cheesesteaks, onion
rings and fries. Take a friend and sample it all! And if there is
no time to dine in, Monkster's has a convenient drive-thru.

||
| Percolator Coffee House | Greenville, NC | |
|
I used to get a headache the minute I walked into the Percolator.
Now, since they repainted and do not allow smoking, it's gotten
a little better. But the Percolator still has the worst coffee
I have ever tasted. There are many however, who will disagree.
Many people spend hours, days, even months in the Percolator
(they never seem to leave), but more than an hour is too much for
me. Located downtown, it is a great location. There is always
interesting art displayed by local artists and great music broadcasted
over the coffeehouse.
|
||
| Pizza Hut | Greenville, NC | |
|
I love Pizza Hut! My favorite is the hand tossed cheese lovers
with pepperoni and onions. Ew, how is just makes my mouth water!!
The servers are usually nice, but the floor is always dirty.
|
||
| Port O'Call Restaurant | Kill Devil Hills, NC | |
|
I know very little about this restaurant. But I do know that the
bar is great. The setup of the place is wonderful and welcoming.
And best of all-they have great bands perform there! A wonderful
place just to hang out with your friends!

||
| Ten Ten Restaurant | Raleigh, NC | |
|
The only place to eat Chinese in this area! The food actually tastes
authentic! The staff is great! The place is clean! A wonderful
dining experience!
|
||
| Tir Na Nog Irish Pub | Raleigh, NC | |
|
A great Irish pub! I spent St. Patty's day there, drinking with
all the other green people. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Good food.
