| Toy's Chinatown Restaurant | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
Good reputation from a long history, but we found the food to be
bland and very average. Portions were rather small for an oriental
restaurant. The service was terrible, and there were only a few
others in the place.

| Bangkok Orchid Thai Restaurant | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
Large Thai menu, and the food was quite good, but the quality of
the drinks, the service and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant
left alot to be desired.

| Stackner Cabaret | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
A nice, casual spot for a drink, appetizers or a light meal before
or after taking in a theater performance at the attached PAC.
The Stackner also puts on a series of light, usually musical and
humorous cabaret performances; as such, it becomes a casual
dinner/theater from time to time. Food and drinks are of good
quality and reasonably priced.

| Robert's Restaurant & Cocktail | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
A neighborhood, German bar and restaurant. Moderate prices.
Lots of beer choices, and some excellent sandwiches; especially
their corned beef.

| Solly's Coffee Shop | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
Solly's is a Milwaukee hamburger tradition. It's a small, clean
burger joint which serves the BEST burgers in town. The meat is
ground sirloin, the onions are stewed, grilled or raw, and the
real butter flows regardless of the cholesteral. I've been a
customer for 45 years, and I have had to travel thirty miles one
way to get there for the last 30 years. Celebrity autographed
pictures adorn the walls, but the burgers are the real draw.

| Chalet Restaurant | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
The Chalet has a large menu and the food is decent, but the portions
are rather small, and the restaurant's cleanliness could be
improved.

| Frenchy's Shrimp & Oyster Cafe | Clearwater Beach, FL | |
|
This is the original Frenchy's. It is just a small bar and cafe,
but the seafood is fresh and reasonable. For meat eaters, they
have a "sirloiner" burger which is really something. The atmosphere
is pure Jimmy Buffet.

| Mama Mia's On Greenfield | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
Great thin crust pizza. Known for excellent garlic bread which
is drenched in garlic butter.
|
||
| Balisteri's Bluemound Inn | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
Probably the best thin crust pizza Milwaukee has to offer. Great
deep fried eggplant appetizer. Arrive early or be prepared to
wait.

| Mader's German Restaurant | Milwaukee, WI | |
|
Great German restaurant in the Old Milwaukee tradition. Excellent
German dishes. Lunch menu is almost the same as the evening menu
except the prices are 40-50% less. Beautiful decore and large
selection of gifts and art objects for sale.

| Hungry Fisherman | Indian Rocks Beach, FL | |
|
A popular, beautiful place to eat. The interior is attractive,
and most tables offer a view of the adjacent beautifully landscaped,
flowered grounds complete with visiting birds of all types.
The menu is quite extensive, but reasonable...lots of "early
bird" specials. I've eaten here for years and found that the quality
can vary somewhat, but the atmosphere and prices generally make
up for an occasional shortcoming.

| Friendly Fisherman Restaurant | Saint Petersburg, FL | |
|
A nice restaurant on the John's Pass Boardwalk. Lots of fresh
sea food and daily specials. Always a crowd for supper, but you
can give them your name and shop the boardwalk while listening
for your name to be called. They have parking for patrons in the
boardwalk area when the other lots are often filled.
