Don't even think about orderring one item per person. The
platters are huge! This plcae is proud to be wierd! Check out the
silly artwork on the walls and don't be surprised if they
don't walk you through the kitchen to get you to your table.
The food is plenty good and plenty of it. Mangia!

Straightforward steak house that alsways has done a good job
at a reasonable price. I keep going back.

| Le Francais | Wheeling, IL | |

Tres Cher mon ami. This used to be one of the only Michelin 5 star
restaurants in the USA. I don't know if it still is. Wonderful
presentation on the two seatings per night. Banquette seating
and great food. The waiters present every item on the menu so you
can decide by what you see. Definately a place for special occasions.

| Weber Grill Restaurant | Wheeling, IL | |
|
It was Good, but I don't think it was as spectacular as others
seem to think. I have many other Chicago favorites for moo. This
is not on my top ten list.

| Pappadeaux's | Westmont, IL | |
|
I was pleased to find this place outside of Texas. That's
where they are based. I think the lines will shorten as the novelty
wears off.

| Cheesecake Factory | Skokie, IL | |
|
The cheescake variations are endless and beautifully prepared.
The meals are just good and not always so well prepared.

| Zippy's | Schaumburg, IL | |

I found this place by accident and my arteries wil never be the
same. But I love it. Try the Italian Beef and sausage combo, the
waffle cut fries or the deep fried onion rings or mushrooms. Great
and reasonable. Fast service.

| Pizzeria Uno | Chicago, IL | |

So many Chicago Pizza Places, so little time. If you have to pick
one, this should be it. Good Crust, Good and Cheesy, nice fillings.

| Pizzeria Uno | Chicago, IL | |

This is the original location, I think. Great cheesecake and
beuatifully presented in lots of interesting variations. The
meals leave something to be desired though. So eat the cheesecake
and grin.

| Udupi Palace | Chicago, IL | |

Devon street has lots of Indian restaurants. This is probably
the best one. Enjoy!
|

| The Pump Room | Chicago, IL | |
|
I think that Frank Sinatra loved this place. And it is in that style
that you cn enjoy the old favorites in a nice atmosphere. This
is a Chicago tradition.

| Scoozi! | Chicago, IL | |
|
I haven't been here in a while, but I remember it being a lot
of fun. This is a grazing restaurant where they serve little dishes
and you can eat a lot of interesting things. It is in an old factory
building. Very enjoyable.

| Stucchi's | Ann Arbor, MI | |

It is indeed an ice cream shop. One of the only ones in AA and it has
been there a long while.

||
| Victors At the Campus Inn | Ann Arbor, MI | |
|
The best part abou this place is that they have a privat eroom which
is good for business dinners. The food is upscale and good, but
pricey.

| Dearborn Inn | Dearborn, MI | |
|
The decor and ambiance is early american. This place is suited
to expense acounts for vendors serving Ford. Just good food,
not great, but an old standby in Dearborn.

||
| Peacock Tandoori Restaurant | Dearborn, MI | |
|
Good Indian food and authentic. They have a tandoor, I think so
try the tandouri chickend, the breads and the kebabs amde in the
tandour. They used to have a buffet at lunch time. Haven't
been there for lunch in a while.

| La Shish East | Dearborn, MI | |
|
While I like the other location in Darborn better, this is agreat
place to have middle eastern food.
|
||
| Golden Fleece | Detroit, MI | |
|
Little place in Greektown. A good food value and nice people.
A little downscale from the other places on the street.
|
||
| Schlotzsky Deli | Lansing, MI | |
|
Not a real deli. They actually have a sandwich with sausage and
mayo on the same sandwich.
|
||
| Bob Chinn's Crab House | Wheeling, IL | |
|
I love fresh seafood. And Chicago has not been the best place to
get it. But Bob Chin's flys it in fresh daily and posts the
tonnage (I'm not kidding) on the bulletin board for all to
see. This is one of the largest grossing restaurants in the country.
They are so organized at moving people through taht there are
two lines at the entrance; one for small groups and one for large
groups. The selection is awesome and the food terrific. The salad
bar is even fantastic! If you love garlic, this si the place to
get a dose of it too. And the seafood is prepared any number of ways.
Like crab? Pick from lots of different kinds. A great place!
