| Mango Grove | Columbia, MD | |

My husband and I had never tried Indian cuisine and we were both
pleasantly surprised. Their house rice dish was very good. It
had a unique combination of ingredients that amazingly worked
well together (nuts, raisins, vegetables, spices). We both
ordered a combination dinner that included our drink, meal,
and desert and was an excellent way to sample their various entrees.
It's a lot of food!
The only thing I didn't like about the restaurant was the waiter who was very busy and really didn't have the time to answer our questions about the different types of foods. Their menu is extensive and without some kind of an idea of what Indian cuisine is all about you have no idea what you are ordering. That is why we decided on the combination platters. Great food but do your research first! |

| Chicken Out | Columbia, District of Columbia | |
|
Good food but a little pricey. I agree with the above review that
most
prices could be a little lower. It's right around the corner from
us
and I have only been there twice because of the prices.

| Silver Diner | Laurel, MD | |
|
Definitely a family restaurant. We went for breakfast which
was really good, and our waitress did an excellent job. She brought
out a car/box for our son to play with while we waited. I wish it
was a little closer to home, we'd go more often.

| Macaroni Grill | Columbia, MD | |
|
This is my favorite restaurant! Excellent!!! Excellent food!!
Superior service!!! The only downside is that it is always very
busy. The way we get around it is to call ahead and ask to be placed
on the waiting list. When you arrive you will have half the waiting
time. Since we've done this we have never had to wait for more than
twenty minutes.
They have the BEST calamari I have ever tasted. I also love their shrimp e pignoli, which is angel hair pasta cooked in a lemon butter sauce with spinach and pine nuts. It's one of the house specialties. I wouldn't suggest going for a first date because it can be very noisy when they have a full house. But definitely try it! |

| Ruby Tuesday | Columbia, District of Columbia | |
|
The best thing I can say about this Ruby Tuesday's is they have
HUGE baked potatoes which are very good. Their salad bar is lacking
and so is their service. However, there never seems to be a long
wait. I guess that must tell you something.

| Red Lobster | Columbia, District of Columbia | |

Very family friendly. Great seafood, reasonable prices. Get
there early because they are always crowded, and there is always
a wait.

| Clydes Of Columbia | Columbia, MD | |
|
Very good food! Excellent view of the lake. Usually a long wait,
but you
can enjoy the lake and walk around to pass the time. It is definitely
worth waiting for.

Very good wraps. The seafood wrap is especially good. They have
several to choose from.

| Piccolo's | Columbia, MD | |
|
Remodeled a few years ago, looks great now. Relaxing atmosphere,
great food, and good service. Not child friendly, so parents, leave
the munchkins at home!

| Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizzeria | Columbia, MD | |
|
I had heard great things about the food so I went with my
husband to check it out. No sooner than we sat down at the
table and got our drinks, a very large cockroach crawled across
the table. Needless to say, we left and never got to try the food.
If it was a spider or ant, I probably would have stayed to eat, but
I don't deal with roaches.
If you are going there for dinner, bring your can of Raid.

| Bob Evans Restaurant | Columbia, MD | |
|
Very kid friendly. Great food, fast service, we never wait long
to be seated. They always have a pack of crayons, crackers, a coloring
book and a towelette for the kids. We visit often.

| Bennigan's | Columbia, MD | |
|
Great pub atmosphere. Good food, reasonably fast service, don't
attempt to go on a weekend evening, you'll be in for a long wait.
Good luck finding a parking space, even with the new garage you'll
need to bring your walking shoes.

| Boston Chicken | Columbia, MD | |
|
The food is pretty good. The staff is less than desirable. The
place is generally okay if you are in the shopping center and are
starving. Otherwise, I'd rather go to McDonald's.

| Gourmet Delight | Columbia, MD | |
|
Small restaurant, never crowded. Great food, good service. Love the cream
cheese wontons. Great sushi, great traditional chinese dishes.
|
||
| Adam's | Columbia, MD | |
|
Took the kids there, they were pretty empty at the time, but still
got lousy service. The food is not worth the price you pay.

||
| Michael's Pub | Columbia, MD | |
|
Not really the place to go to eat. Your fine if you want to
go out for a beer and a burger, but not the place to take a date.

| Sushi King Restaurant | Columbia, MD | |
|
This is my favorite restaurant! Excellent service, excellent
food, very friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere, great for dinner
for two, or even for the family to try something new. They have
private rooms for small parties.Their sushi is great! I love the
eel, the california rolls, the tonkatsu (breaded fried pork dish),
and they have great tempura ice cream (fried ice-cream).

| Cacao Lane Restaurant | Ellicott City, MD | |

Very nice place. Hard to find parking but worth the walk. The
dining area is very nice. Formal atmosphere, great food, excellent
service.

| Seven Seas Restaurant | Greenbelt, MD | |
|
I love the decor, it is so relaxing. When I was there last which
was a few years ago, they had the ceiling decorated with a mural
of mermaids and an under the sea theme.
Very nice place.
