| Cino | Marietta, GA | |

This used to be Rocky Mountain Pizza and is located in The Avenues
shopping center. Service left a bit to be desired and not many
choices for a child but pretty good food. I had the 4 cheese brick
oven pizza and it was yummy. Will go back but not all the time due
to the prices for what received.

| Fellini's Pizza | Atlanta, GA | |
|
I love to go there and just throw my own toppings on a pizza. I get
the xtra cheese white pizza w/ garlic, feta cheese, and artichoke
hearts. Yeeeyum! Can get very crowded and there is little seating
so plan ahead. Oh, and it is also really nice that my husband gets
his usual pepperoni and mushroom on the other side of the pizza.
They will do that there!

| Alvamar Country Club | Lawrence, KS | |
|
Oh my God, I used to work here! Tuesday is seafood buffet night
and it is excellent! A great variety of quality seafood: Trout
almondine, orange roughy, swordfish, etc... All is yummy and
the service is excellent. View of the exquisite golfcourse is
a plus, too.

| Taco Via | Shawnee Mission, KS | |
|
Nothing fancy but there is one unique item. Get the sauncho. It
is spicy and yummy. All prepared fresh to order. Fun to play the
jukebox, too.

| Torre's Pizzeria | Shawnee Mission, KS | |
|
Yay, Torre's pizza is very very good. I love their cheese pizza
the best. Have to admit I liked the Westport local better. Nice
to have one out west though!

| Leona Yarbrough Restaurant | Shawnee Mission, KS | |
|
This place blew it. It used to be such an awesome place. They were
a little operation in Fairway Kansas(right by Bishop Miege).
Now they have this bigger place and the food is not the same. For
one you just don't get as much and I think their attention to detail
is gone. Too bad. Was some of the best European and homecooking
around.

| Bubba Gump Shrimp Co | Breckenridge, CO | |
|
We went to Bubba Gump's even though a local told us not to. She had
said it was a little expensive for what you get in return. This
was my last day in Colorado(used to live in Parker, CO) but was
moving the next day to Atlanta. We said, "What the heck." It was
good. Cute cute place and very nice service. Our waitress was
a recent transplant from New York and her excitement was refreshing.
They have little signs on the table that say, RUN, FOREST, RUN

| Cantina | Aspen, CO | |
|
We were in Aspen for a water aerobics seminar in the non peak season.
This meant very few restaurants and stores were even open. Another
problem: we couldn't get out of our training until 9:00pm. This
restaurant was open and we were one of the last tables seated.
Because of this I do not think we got the very best service. It was
adequate. Food was pretty good-average Mexican fare. Lovely
atmosphere. I remember the margaritas were good but served in
a pretty small glass. Sigh.

| Old Stone Church | Castle Rock, CO | |
|
I loved this place. Had heard it had been through some changes
but it was awesome. I requested it on my birthday and we took out
our extended family. Everyone raved. It is the most fun atmosphere
-yet refined. Lovely, white cloth in a real old church! There
is even a confessional for a special couples dinner. My favorite
was the crab crepe with the oyster mushrooms and mornay sauce.
YEEEYUM!

| Augustine Grill | Castle Rock, CO | |
|
I like Augustines. I have just had two quite different experiences
though so it is hard to know which is more true to charactor. The
first time I went w/ just one girlfriend. We were seated upstairs
in one of the quaint little rooms. I think I had some sort of sandwich.
It was good. What really stands out was the raspberry creme brulee
that I had for dessert, though. Wow! Rich and satiny. My 2nd visit
was w/ 7 others from my water aerobics class. We were seated outside
and it was a beautiful day. Unfortunately, we were overlooked
time and time again to have our order taken. Two of the ladies at
my table had the chicken salad and they said they felt a little
icky afterwards. I would go back, though. I think the good experience
outweighs the bad.

| Los Volcanes Mexican Rstrnt II | Franktown, CO | |
|
I like Los Volcanes. I wish it's location had remained the Franktown
Grill, though. The food is pretty good-most items really cheesy.
I hear that the buffet is nice although I have not had. I really
prefer the other Mexican place in town, though, Medina's. It
is a family owned, hole in the wall, best Mexican for miles restaurant.
I would return to Los Volcanes but only if I am w/ my friend who just
loves the place. Otherwise, I would head across the street.

| Defiance Station | Glenwood Springs, CO | |
|
This is such a cute place and the food is so good. We have eaten there
several times and I have never been disapointed. Great locally
brewed beer and quality food for a good price. We have brought
kids in before, too and we were treated great!
|
||
| Daily Bread Cafe & Bakery | Glenwood Springs, CO | |
|
This is the place to go for breakfast! My friend and I were just
about to go hike Hanging Lake and we needed some serious carb action.
I had the chocolate cressant. Oh joy! Perfect coffees, too. Be
advised, though, big crowds on weekend mornings. The word is
out!
|
||
| Springs Sports Bar & Grill | Glenwood Springs, CO | |
|
Better than your average bar food. You will feel so right at home, too.
The fish and chips and the chimichanga are very good. They have
little trivia pusuit cards on the table to play, too. Beers and
service excellent.
|
||
| Beau Jo's | Idaho Springs, CO | |
|
Beau Jo's is such a Colorado thing-that makes it great! The toppings
are plentiful and there are many to choose. My only complaint
would be take the toppings further up. Yes, I like the crust and
honey but I really like the pizza, too. Bathrooms upstairs are
a little funky and the service can be slow but so so worth it!
|
||
| RODEZIOS | Littleton, CO | |
|
I don't know if it's real Brazillian or not. I know I like it. It
is a very good deal for the money. It took a little while to figure
out the method behind the wooden thing you turn over to say if you
want more meat or not but I finally got it. All kinds of meat. The
salad bar is not to be missed. Way too enticing to be called a "salad
bar".
|
||
| Country Buffet | Littleton, CO | |
|
You know, the is really not a better place to take a child then Country
Buffet. My little girl will eat and eat and she is one to just pick.
Everything is there and if you don't care for one thing try another.
Lots of dessert options, too. Originally we tried because my
Grandpa was in town and this seemed to be his kind of food. I think
it's my kind, too!

| Grand Old Ranch House | Moab, UT | |
|
This is no longer in business by the way. It is being turned into
another restaurant. This place was more a pleasure to look at
then eat at anyway. Way way pricey!
|
||
| La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant | Moab, UT | |
|
Average Mexican fare. I would have given it a higher rating but
the margaritas come in a tiny little goblet and they aren't inexpensive.
Plus, this is about the only place in town you can get a margarita
so I was just so disapointed. The inside of this restaurant is
10X nicer than the outside. If you want Mexican in Moab-go.
|
||
| Moab Diner | Moab, UT | |
|
I had always wanted to try the Kokopelli chicken that they advertise
every time I am in town. It was SOOOO disapointing. The chicken
was tough and the potatos-icky. I tell you one thing, though,
their green chile was GREAT! Go there for the icecream-it is superb.
Get the moosetracks!
