KatieV   -   Tonight will be the last time this restaurant will recieves my service. I have been to this locally owned restaurant a few times and every time the service has been poor. It hasn\\\'t been poor by the young waitress or waiters but by the owner. The owner today was talking about my family and I as we sat at the table, it was because we the young waitress if we could use a gift certificate that expired. She told us to ask the manager when we go to the front to pay. The waitress ended up asking the owner who then loudly talked about how we should not except that and basically saying we were stupid to ask because it has an expiration date. She continued to talk about us as we sat at the table and then started to judge us before we even got up to ask her in person. Mind you we can hear everything she is saying. We then walked up and said \\\"It sounds like you aren\\\'t going to accept this gift certificate and we understand your policy.\\\" Let her know we can hear you talking about us and aren\\\'t trying to cause a problem. The owner then goes on a rant to us that we should of been more aware of the gift certificate expiration date. We then said to her we understand your policy but from our point of view your restaurant received 50 dollars from our family friend who bought this gift certificate for our family. That 50 dollars was already given and paid to you in which no service was received and given for that money. We again said to her we aren\\\'t trying to argue with you and we accept your policy. We weren\\\'t still trying to use the gift certificate we were then trying to pay for our bill. She continued to then talk about it and being completely rude to us when we tried to drop the situation. As she continued to talk and basically tell us we are stupid for asking if they would accept it. We then said to her next time we will ask our friend not to give us a gift certificate at this restaurant and the owner said you can ask for a gift certificate where ever you want. In which we said yes we can but in asking for one not here you will lose that amount of money and service. She the responded, IT\\\'S OKAY WE DON\\\'T NEED YOUR SERVICE OR CARE ABOUT YOUR SERVICE, WE DO FINE WITHOUT YOUR SERVICE. Shocking the couple who was standing next to us trying to pay their bill as well. The owner of the restaurant just said out loud that she didn\\\'t care about our service and does fine without our service all because we asked if we could use a gift certificate given by a friend and when said no we put it away and tried to pay for the bill. Our family has had other more minor problems with the service but this one was the deal breaker for our family and for our recommendations. less

Karen M.   -   After 25+ years of loyalty this customer/reviewer has chosen to NEVER do business with Casa Di Pizza and the Jacobi Family again. I am someone who, up until tonight has pal Ed an order, almost weekly with Casa... No More!!! Last week I waited for over an hour to receive the wrong order. I called to tell them that the wrong order had been delivered and I was charged for more than I ordered, in addition to getting a totally different pizza than the one I ordered. I ordered cheese and pepperoni (simple pizza)... I was charged for cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms.... The pizza that was delivered (the ONLY pizza my delivery guy had in his vehicle I might add, was a cheese, pepperoni and black olives pizza. Upon relizing that the order was incorrect I called Casa and was assured that the correct pizza would be made and redelivered (they would also retrieve the pizza that was still in my possession. During that same phone call, the gentleman at Casa told me that I would have a credit on file for the NEXT time I ordered from Casa... No other information was given to me. I assumed the next time I called and gave my name, address and cell number (as I do with EVERY order...that would be how they would pull up my credit. Another 45 minutes passed and I finally recieved the correct order. BY THE WAY the Pizza was terrible...NOTE: I was never given any additional information that I would need to relay to with my next order. Tonight, Sunday November 11, 2012 I placed an order for delivery, with all my usual information one gives when placing an order with a pizzeria etc...40 minutes passed and I received a phone call from Casa requesting a 4 digit number code so they could retrieve my credit information. I HAD NO SUCH information. NONE was EVER given to me at any time. Very long story short...the alleged owner/manager I spoke with refused to believe I had a credit on file and refused to apply my credit to my order for this evening (my order was placed over 45 minutes ago and now this alleged owner manager is in essence calling me a liar and refusing to give me my aforementioned mentioned/promised credit from Casa). What happened to the customer is always right? Apparently, customer service is not something Casa Di Pizza or the Jacobi Family cares about! I was a very loyal customer was was now Being  treated as a "credit thief". I will never return to Casa, and wi,, strongly suggest that others be wary, especially if using takeout services. I will be blogging about this and plan on letting the local news know about how poorly Casa treats their loyal customers...over something like a small credit...one given because of Casa's mistake in the first place. I see why Casa gave me the credit in the first place....as they had no intention of making good on it on my next order with them. I am a very principled person and this is not simply a matter of money and a small credit... I did not fabricate the scenario leading up to my credit...I have the reciept from the original wrong order...WOW...everyone I know will be made aware of this and I hope you hear my words and think twice about giving a business that would renig on a credit...rather than BELIEVE a loyal customer...and keep her happy and returning! Not gonna happen now... Casa shame on you!!! less

We were looking for a parking spot on Hodge Street, but were unable to find one. I decided to pull half way into Casa-Di-Pizza's rear parking lot so that I could then back out onto Hodge and head back up the way I came. As I pulled in, an employee sitting in a Casa-Di-Pizza van, who wasn't too happy, started honking at me and waving me out. I tried gesturing that I was just turning around and not pulling in. He bacame even more irate and started honking again and gesturing for me to get out. Again, I tried indicating that I am just turning around and not pulling into their parking lot. As I began heading up Hodge Street, I threw up my hand to him as to say, "What the heck your problem?". At that point he gave me the finger. Now if he had just rolled down his window to politely tell me that I wasn't allowed to park there, I would have kindly let him know that I wasn't trying to park there and I would have been on my way. Needless to say, I for one will not be going back to Casa-Di-Pizza again. On the other hand, if you want some halfway decent food and at the same time get flipped off by one of their employees, I would strongly recommend them. less

Their salad bar is amazing with 4 fresh soups daily including their famous Spicy Buffalo Chicken wing soup. The service is great and the atmosphere is very nice and laid back. I would reccomendhis restaurant to anybody and love going there as much as I can! less
