We noted several problems with our visit. 1. Our server's favorite phrase was "I don't know", when we asked questions about the menu and seasonings. Her clothes were rumpled, hair was all over the place. Not the type of service you expect at such an expensive restaurant. VERY POOR SERVICE. 2. My Ceasar salad contained mostly iceburg lettuce. I ordered red snapper with lump crab and hollandaise sauce. It came with some mysterious tomato sauce. Additionally, the presentation was very poor, considering the entree' was nearly $30.00. Substandard meal for the price. 3. My wife and father-in-law ordered the same greek salad. Her's came in a large bowl, his in a small bowl. Neither had olives or tomatoes. Very poor! The overall experience was poor. My father-in-law is never comfortable making a scene, so we didn't say anything about our poor experience. However, my mother-in-law is composing a letter to the owner. less

I have never had a bad meal. And if you really want something good, their grilled/baked catfish is out of this world GREAT! I highly recommend and commend this place to anyone!!! It's terrific! less

Don’t judge a restaurant by its outside appearance. The outside of the restaurant is nothing special but once we stepped inside the restaurant, it was a different story. There were lit candles on every table. The place was decorated very nicely and the romantic ambiance made me wish we did not have our two kids with us. I had no idea what to order and asked the server for a suggestion. My husband did the same, but ordered something different than me. Both our dishes were excellent. My husband ordered snapper and pasta and I do not recall the name of my dish. My husband and I both liked mine the best. It was prosciutto in a wheel like design pasta with a white cream sauce and different cheeses. I know I am so vague; I apologize. The bread was also the best bread I have had at a restaurant! The salads were perfect - light with only olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Our waitress was very welcoming and even gracious with our children. They were able to split a meal. The only thing I was a little disappointed with is that there is no liquor sold. I really would have liked a glass of vino with my meal. Guests are encouraged to bring their own favorite wine to the restaurant. So remember your bottle of vino! I wish I had brought one. less
