There was just the two of us and our 4 year old! Since when does a restaurant apply 25% gratuity on the bill, automatically??? Well, this place does. Disgusting! We choose the gratuity, not Dan the waiter. I would have left around 18%. That is my choice and I do not accept the waiter making such a decision for me. This is not a fine dining establishment, the food is not the greatest and the service is not the best. Overpriced? Yes! There are better places such as the Ritz Carlton and The Capital Grille near by. We would never go back here and we would never recommend this place. Enter at your own risk and be prepared to line the waiter's pocket with plenty of $$$ ! less

My girlfriend had never heard of whole bellied clams so we got those and a haddock dinner. The fried clams were even better than I remembered and the haddock was grilled nicely with not too much seasoning. I would definately recommend this place to anyone. The owners were nice and the prices were decent for New England seafood. less
Schnitzel House
This is one of the dirties restaurant in town.Food was greasy and cold, poor service. I agree there are lot better restaurants in the area.

The staff treat everyone like family. The food is wholesome and good comfort food.
The Veranda Restaraunt
Fresh and well seasoned salmon was very delicious. Definitely worth the price.

When we got our order 2 of 4 slices were burnt and tasted too bad to eat. My 2nd bite was cold on the inside and under cooked. Our server never asked how it was. After I paid I told her and she said I should of said something. I told her she should of seen it or asked when we did not eat very much. I did not want to make a big deal in front of my wife. This might be a good place if you are on vacation and don't expect much! less
