I have been to Fook Yuen and Flower Lounge on different occasions. This place uses very fresh ingredients and it is evident in their dishes. Because of the quality of the ingredients used the food does not have msg.

Great place for seafood, especially the king crab worth the visit. ZP can make the king crab in different ways, and from my experiences in other restuarants, they have the best combination, clear steam some the leg, and egg york fried with body, and you can still have a noodle dish with fresh crab meat.

Dim sum wise, they offer quite a lot of different types, some are traditional, and some are quite special and full of great ideas. The best part is they make it fresh when you order it. In bay area, this is one of the few chinese dim sum place does it and does it well.

Overall, great food, service can be better. Wait is long for weekend, but that means good stuff...

My Chinese friend took me to the restaurant yesterday, and I decided to share my experience with everyone love to eat.
We went there for lunch. We did not expect much, we think it's just another Hong Kong style dim sum restaurant, but we always like to try new things. You order your dim sum, and they make it right the way. This way, they keep the dim sum fresh and hot. According to my Chinese friend, this is a high class way to eat dim sum, different from just pick from those big carts. They do have carts or folks that walk around with different dim sum, but those are just addition, they recommend you to order the main one.
After many of the excellent dim sum, we still feel a bit hungry. The manager there recommended us to go for the whole lobster over noodle that is on special for $18 only. Great choice, fresh lobster, and really a whole one, usually when you order lobster over noodle at some other places, they just give you some pieces, but ZP really give you a whole lobster. BTW, the taste were great, the noodle are just cook right, not too soft, not too hard, really gave me a great sense of texture.
My friend said that the dinner there worth a try and full of suprises if you go with their picture menu.
