AquaKnox is harder to love than its older sibling. Star Canyon
is tongue-in-cheek Texas with a swagger and a wink, an easily
definable cuisine in a cowboy-chic setting. Chef Pyles' seafood
restaurant is as cool and reserved as Star Canyon is warm and hand-pumping.

S. Pyles newst adventure in the former Highland Park Cafateria building on Knox Street. This is the
quintensential 'see and be seen' trendy spot in the boring world of dallas dining. This restaurant is for those
dinners interested more in show than substance. Serious afficiandos of seafood will be greatly disappointed;
however, if your interested in eyeing the latest hip fashions you'll love this place. As for myself, I am tired
with chefs who are into the 'architecture' of food...I'll take subterreanian dining at the Oyster Bar in Grand
Central Station over Aquaknox anyday. Look for me at the counter...I'll be the one smiling over a great bowl of
lobster bisque! Pricy and very difficult to get reservations...service is lacking and a 9 o'clock reservation
turned into a 10 o'clock seating.
