The food was excellent, the service was out of this world. We had noticed that everyone was leaving with to go boxes. Now I can see why. You not only get quality but quanity. There never was a seat left open in the waiting area. Well worth a try if you're in the area.

The portions this restaurant serves to you are large. I recommend it to all my friends. I really enjoyed the tortellini, melted in my mouth. I like the wine list also.

We chose this restaurant for a small party of ten by word of mouth from several friends. Some being very picky on where they eat. The food was excellent, the service was out of this world. We had noticed that everyone was leaving with to go boxes. Now I can see why. You not only get quality but quanity. There never was a seat left open in the waiting area. This restaurant is a definate top ten to return to. Excellent selection of fine Italian food. I had the salmon florentine. It was to die for. I know that we will be back the 30 mile drive was worth it.

This is over 15 miles from my place and it is worth the drive. If you like italian in a slightly tacky suroundings, this is the place. I have been a fan for years. Great bread, and the chicken catchatori (sp) is my favorite.
Great pizza and good service - enjoy.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant. The quantities are enough for 2 people per meal. The quality is awesome as well. I personally think this is a nice place to go for a romantic evening. We drive from Grand Prairie to enjoy this place. Try the chicken tetrazini, it's wonderful!

A wonderful place to have a romatic dinner for two. The food is wonderful and the price is out of this world (cheap!!!!). You may have to wait a while for the food but it is worth it! They have expanded so there shouldn't be any problems finding a place to sit. If you want romance and that Italian atmosphere this is the place to go.

Anything we have tried has been extremely good. We keep driving fron north Carrollton because the food and price are both good.

Instead of the local Pizza deliveries we will order take out. It's worth the drive.

Went to lunch here today because so many Dine.com reviewers seemed to like it (and it's near my work). The atmosphere was too dark for my taste and the decor definitely runs to the mafioso-inspired complete with cheesy music. But the food was very good. I had the Pesto con Gambiri which is pasta with tiny shrimp and pesto sauce. A little oily but the pine nuts tasted so good and I had enough left for lunch tomorrow. My husband had the Seafood Alfredo and he loved it, too. The salads were ordinary but not unpleasant. The rolls are fantastic and would probably make a meal if you added red sauce. We'll probably go back and try something else. I think I'll stick to a half order in the future though.

This place definately beats all of the big chain intalian restuarants in the Metroplex. Weather it is for lunch or dinner, the price and quantity of food cannot be challenged. The scenery is fake and somewhat goddie, but with the dimmed lights and candle lit surrounds you will get over it. If your in the mood to take your wife or girl friend to a restuarant that will emplod your stomach, this is definately a place to go. P.S.- If you entend on having any physical encounterings with your co-part after dinner, save this place for another night. 'Trust Me'

We really liked this place! It was recommended to us by several friends, and they were right about the quantity of food. The quality was also very good. It was a plesant atmosphere with nice service. You wouldn't really dress up to come to this place, but I guess there aren't too many of those places around at this price. We took my wife's mother and father and they even liked it. My wife's mother is half Italian, and doesn't like too many Italian restaurants. We all had leftovers for lunch the next day...And they reheated pretty well if you took them out of the microwave-meltable to-go boxes.

Seems these days "chief" is synonomous with "cheap" (anybody see my review of la Madelaine?). Nevertheless I decided to splurge and try the Two Guys last Sunday. I came prepared; no breakfast for me and I was waiting outside their door with my own fork at noon. The restaurant itself looks huge, and boasts an incredibe (yet fake) vinery of plastic grapes and bottles of VINO all over the ceiling. In fact, I have yet to see a collection of fake grapes which came close to rivalling the scope of that at the Two Guys. The service was great. The food...I agree, they give you portions that will fill even the hungriest of carnosaurs. You're better off skipping the side salad or soup, because you won't even be able to eat all your meal and bread as it is. Right now I have enough portions in my fridge for four leftover meals, and I hope nobody minds if I rereview the restaurant every time I reheat. As for my 駭tree...I ordered the tortellini alla panna, which is served in a creamy white sauce with mushrooms and prosciuto (ham). Pretty good, but hand-made tortellinnis would have been better. The kind I was served tasted unamazingly like the kind I buy every once in a while at Kroger. Bottom line: Huge portions, semi-spectacular fare.
