The food is awful and the waitstaff is rude. When I asked the manager for a refund of my meal, he balked and said that it was not possible.

Coming from Manhattan, where dining standards are set sky high, I have to give this restaurant props. Wow. Very classy atmosphere. We sat by the window along the back wall of the restaurant- what a view. They have a man-made lake with a jetting fountain that is lit up at night. The eye catching spiral colums that array the dining room add to the chic atmosphere. Also very eye cathcing and definitely adding to the "chicness" were the manager and hostess. Almost intimidating, they both opened the huge glass doors for us (also a plus) on the way in, clad in all black ensembles. Both were very professional and knowledgeable, as was our server (Antonio). I had the Dover Sole (the fish special of the evening) that was well worth the 35 dollars. Also if you know little about wine, the wine steward was very helpful and pleasant..no pressure at all to spend a lot of money. The only thing we didn't enjoy was how loud the restaurant gets at night, but other than that a flawless evening.

Dallas area's best true Italian restaurant. Can get pricey, however ordering carefully is not hard. Excellent wine list with good choices in a wide price range. Bread sticks are great, as is service and atmosphere.

This is my first at Italian Fare since moving to Dallas from Chicago. Being truthful, I was suprised and disappointed at the same time. The calamari was nicely spiced, while the grilled portobello was anemic in portion size as was the primi dish of funhgi raivoli. The polenta with the grilled portobello also had no hint of gorgonzola as the polenta was named. There was also a noticeable gaffe in service. We ordered a bottle of Champagne with our appetizers and it did not arrive until they were bringing the ravioli. The savior of the dinner was the Osso Busco. Excellent and tender, incredible taste, as was the risotto, all two forkfuls. I am not sure I would go again, as I found the prices a little steep for the amount of food. Money would have been better spent at Del Friso's, Star Canyon, or AquaKnox. If ever in Chicago visit Vinci, Mia Francesca, or Lucky's for much better value.

What a great restaurant. We took a large business group and had a table in the wine cellar. What an experience. Our waiter (Marco) and his staff were excellent. The wine was superb, and the food phenomenal! I especially enjoyed the shrimp appetizer, the pasta, the asparagus salad, the bread and the (home made) pasta! The rest of our party raved about the pork chop and the halibut! I would highly recommend this restaurant for both corporate and personal events. Having this review online was a great help to me since our company is in Massachusetts! You made me look great!

Impeccable Italian food with beautiful atmosphere provided by the view overlooking a small well landscaped pond. Menu emphasizes northern varieties focusing on cheese cream sauces as opposed to tomato based. Expect a crowd an most nights.

Excelent Italian food and good wine selection. This is a great place to bring business partners to. The view is incredable at night. The dining room looks out at a small lake with fountains. There is also a private wine cellar seating for 8.

This is one of my top two italian restaurants. The food was excellent - cooked a special order just for me. The atmosphere is high class, seen-and-be-seen, and noisy. The waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing. I would definitely go back again and again!
