Great atmosphere to get together with friends! Good variety of authentic tapas! Friendly service! Makes me wish I was back in Spain!

The place has gone down hill since original owner and chef are no longer involved. It's too bad because it was an excellent place. The food is suffering the most since they have not had a steady chef for some time. There are other Spanish tapas bars listed in the Friday guide, so luckly there are other options.

This place is a definite 'happening!' The owner, Donica Jimenez, has done terrific job of recreating a real Madrileno atmosphere in a very hip part of Dallas. The atmosphere is the BEST, the music is to be had on weeknights; Fridays are too packed with people to get any musicians in, I suppose. Fun to sit by the shelves full of goodies shipped from Spain, the teas, jams and regional delicacies are a feast for the eyes. As an artist, I found the whole experience very mellow and a wonderful addition to the terrific, authentic Spanish cuisine. I sat there thinking of all the people I want to take there. Good job!

The closest authentic Spanish tapas bar you'll ever find in this region to the ones in the real Madrid. Most of the tapas (and paella, too) were really good. Highly recommended: Gambas Al Ajillo (soak your bread in its tasty sauce), Codorniz a La Plan- cha, Chorizo San Martin (sausage like you've never tasted b4), the real Queso Manchego (order twice!), Boquerones Fritos, of course - Jamon Serrano. For dessert, try their great Flan and the plate of goodies - yum! Order a pitcher of Sangria to go with the tapas. Be there by 6:30 pm as this restaurant is very popular. However, any wait is definitely worth the very tasty and authentic Spanish food and the reasonable prices! You' ve got to try it. I can't wait to return.

Tapas are king here in the only Spanish restaurant in Dallas. Order a bottle or Marques de Caceras and peruse the long list of tapas on the blackboard. I like the quail, marinated asperagas, potato omelette, and shrimp. Not on the menu but traditional in Spain is the manchego cheese and a bowl of olives. Ask, and they will provide. Outside seating is at a premium, but should be taken if available. Otherwise, its fun to share a large table with others.

Great tapas in a casual environment. Atmosphere improved in recent visit. Some outdoor dining. Try the grilled marinated pork tenderloin and the potato omelette.

Fun, fun, fun! Dallas' only Spanish restaurant (memories of Boques.) Tapas are the thing here and among the favorites are artichoke hearts in olive oil vinegarette and calamares fritos. On weekends they serve paella. Don't miss the exceptional Spanish Riojas! Live music sometimes.
