Always a great place for business entertaining. Great happy hour prices , you can make meals of the hor'dorves. Entree dishes made even better with the way they present. You can not prepare these type of dishes at home unless one is a gourmet.

We greatly prefer the atmosphere of the arboretum location over the 6th street location. Food has always been good and they have the best margaritas in town - I limit myself to 1 and 1/2. Get's a bit loud, but so does every other place in town. <br> This is one of our favorite places and we are very picky and never go to chains of any sort. I strongly recommend going earlier to avoid the crowds and to minimize the noise. Mid to late afternoon on the weekends is great.

Sometimes my food has been bad and sometimes it has been good. I like the atmosphere here. The buiding has a neet design.

Modern Mexican at its best. Problem is, I don't really like Modern Mexican, or Nuevo Southwestern, or whatever you call it. So if they won me over, and you're the kind-of person who likes this kind-of stuff, then it's gotta be a good fit.

pricey for tex mex in Austin especially when comparing this restraunt to Chuy's or more closely to Iron Cactus
the restraunt has two locations i know of in Austin one in the 6th street area and another in the arboretum area
i've heard this restraunt is a chain and that they have locations all over the western united states
the food is more southwestern US style than tex mex... you won't find any refried beans here... so if you are into the "California" interpertation of tex mex this is your place
one thing... the view at least in the Arboretum Location is spectactular... great canyon views.

Kinda pricey, but better than your average Tex-Mex joint. Expect to wait on weekends.

This restaurant is really inconsistant. The prices are really reasonable for the quality and quantity of what you're getting. Unfortunately the service is hit or miss. Go for happy hour and the appetizers are half price... I recommend the fish tacos.

One of the 'more' expensive restaurants that I've ever been to. Nice atmosphere, and the restaurant itself on upper level Arboretum blvd. But the food doesn't reflect all the good things I've said before. They should do better than that and improve the efficiency and courtesy of the staff. For the amount of money this place charges, I'd rather eat somewhere else.

This place struck me as a ?new wave? tex-mex place. The food definitely wasn?t anything to write home about, the service was mediocre to poor and overall it was very loud. You can skip this one?.

The setting is sort of a modern tex-mex feel. We sat in a circular booth which was nice. The chips and salsa were good but you did have to pay extra (I feel chips and salsa should be complimentary at any decent place) I really enjoyed my trout entree, served with sauted vegetables. I also liked the flan dessert. But really my favorite thing was the cheese quesadillas they made for my son (there is no childrens menu but they will accomidate little ones) they were good tortillas thick with high quality cheese. My companion enjoyed the new york strip but I would encourage a more adventerous choice for this menu because there are some creative sounding choices to try!
