You have got to be kiddding me, the staff is about as old as water, and the service is slow and unattentive. the food has zero flavor and usually very overcooked.

they are cosistent...the quality of the food is okay. have dined there quite a few times and have never had a server that wasn't under 65 yrs. old. so things move very slowly. the sticky buns served with dinner are the best part of the meal. things are dry and very bland. plate presentation is poor, but if you are in the mood for a meal that is consistent, i guess you can't beat it....coffee is good.

There are few choices in Elkins, but the Motor Lodge restaurant is a fairly safe one. Dinner won't cost much, the drinks are good, and the staff is very friendly. Nice place to stay, for out of towners, as well. Don't expect much on a wine list, stick with drinks from the bar, and you'll do okay.
