This is My favorite at any barbeque place is the potatoes and you can't beat theirs. My children (4) who are very picky also enjoy the variety offered. A place where we can all go after church on Sunday and not break the bank I even met a cool guy here once. Hes the cook. Debbie

I had forgotten how good the Beef ribs were...you can argue about who has the best Bar B Que (N.Carolina, Memphis, St. Louis or KC) but I don't think anyone will challenge the claim that Texas has the best Beef BBQ in the world...and Beef Ribs are getting to be rare indeed...so when I am in Texas, I try to avail myself of the BBQ Beef ribs...and if I'm lucky enough to be in Austin...I know that I'll have some of the best Ribs in the State...its worth the trip out of town just for the view (the food is an added bonus)

If Texas is the kingdom for BBQ, this may be King (okay, okay, so there is Lockhart and Llano...but lets keep it in town)
Usually people rave about Salt Lick, but the distance is far, and, more importantly, the food is a a crapshoot; i've had some mediocre food from them and i've had great food from them
County is always CONSISTENTLY good. Plus, the ambience and location is a bonus. Terrific place to impress out of town friends and introduce them to BBQ. Beef ribs are enormous. The gem is the turkey meat. Yes, BBQ = beef, but try the turkey; its tender and juicy. blah blah blah. GO HERE

Great food, decent prices, wonderful view of the lake, service was great. I was disappointed because we were not allowed to have dinner on the patio, it was just for drinks and appetizers.

We dined here while in Dallas and the food was delicious! Great and freindly staff. We sat outside on the deck and the weather was great! Try the catfish!

In my opinion this is the best of the County Lines. I love to go out on their back deck and eat. Its right on the lake you can pull up on your boat if you want. Sweet. The food is good down home, even though the restaurant is big and you get that chain feel. Service is great. Your going to eat a ton of food, but be weary cause the desert is great too.

Good food, nice atmosphere. When I have visitors new to Austin,

this is where they want to go.
The menu offers a good variety of plates including combinations. If you are not into beef, try the chicken or turkey.
Service is prompt and friendly.

This is one of those great Austin locations. Backs up to the water. It's not actually on Lake Austin, but Bull Creek which widens here and feeds the lake. I have actually paddled a kayak from the lake to the deck here and had lunch. The meats and sides are excellent as is the bread. A bit pricey but occasionally worth it for the food and location.

Feeding frenzy for bar-b-q lovers. Great location and very good food. A good place to take an yankee from out of town.

This is one of the best barbecue joints in town. It's a bit of a drive from downtown, but the view of the lake is quite nice.

I have been there several times, and have never been disappointed. The pork is excellent, moist, smoked to perfection. Just thinking about the chicken makes my mouth water. The only downer I can think of is that it is always so jam packed, you have trouble finding a place to park.

They have very good sausage and brisquet. The ribs were tough and left much to be desired. Slaw and potato salad were good too. The view of the lake is awesome from this restaurant.

I love the barbeque and I'm not really a barbeque fan. We go here every single year for my dad's birthday....well, until it burned...
