This restuarant was a true disappointment. Visited on 12/29/01 for lunch. The service was excellent. So much so that the food arrived so quickly, it made you wonder what was going on in the kitchen. I invision a Taco Bell type assembly line. The food was just above a patio mexican frozen dinner. It's not that hard to make good mexican food, I don't understand why this place is so popular.

My girlfriend Stacy and I had an opportunity to eat there one Friday evening. The service is pretty good with nice friendly people. The food is ok. The enchiladas were a couple of steps above the taco bell and taco cabana kind. Their soppapilas are pretty good. Rate it 3.0

I have eaten here several times,I have always enjoyed it... I now live in Tennessee and don't get good Tex-Mex food anymore really miss El-Fenix wish they would open one in Knoxville,Tn El-Fenix know what real tex-mex is

my wife and i had the displeasure of eating at this establishment we were very disapointed in the service,it took too long for them to take our order and when we wanted to leave i had to go into the kitchen to find our waiter to bring our check and then he couldnt remember what we had,it was a nightmare. nevermore!

Pretty good mexican food. It isn't my favorite place, but I will definitely go back. Good food and reasonable prices.

Another frozen dinner quality mexican place. Beans tasted right out of the can. Service was poor. Food much too greasy even for mexican.

This is the "Addison" restaurant with a Dallas address. It's a big one, and always efficient. Several well appointed rooms, lots of windows, spacious areas, cozy areas. And the food, well, it's El Fenix -- great Tex Mex. My favorite is enchiladas, queso dip which is always hot, and the chips are the best with a unique texture. The best sopapillas in the world are here. They alone are worth a trip. It's always parked out so drop your party off at the front covered entrance and park where ever.
