Whats the deal? I ordered the hunan beef on the to go menu and it was filled with jalopeno peppers and the sauce tasted like warmed over sweet and sour sauce. Then we ordered paradise chicken...it was made with oriental red peppers and was hotter than ...well you catch my drift. So why couldn't they use red peppers instead of jalopeno in the hunan beef? See my point? Oh by the way the paradise chicken was supposed to be a sweet dish not hot. Then we got chicken egg rolls and when we opened the package grease ran out of the bag. Literally. I am not kiding in anyway. And to make matters worse when I called back to complain I was put on hold for several minutes and then they treated me like it was my fault that the food was not prepared the way we asked for it to be in the first place. I called the owner personally and he didnt't seem to care one way or the other. I even inquired as to why they have no website or a proper email address to send suggestions or complaints to. He was very much apathetic to any suggestion...Ok email accounts are free, If I owned a business I think that would be the cheapest way for me to see how my guest feel about My company. It was the worst chinese food I have ever had in my life..You can get better at taco bell and they dont even serve chinese...figure that one out. By the way...this was the lovers egg roll in dallas on lemmon ave.

I DON'T know why everybody is describing this place as CLEAN. The department of health shut them down for some time.
During that time they renovated and "seem" to be much cleaner. But if you are queasy, you might not want to visit a place that once had roaches in its kitchen.
I, for one, am not queasy. I have been back since the "re-opening" and have enjoyed my visits. Lovers Egg Roll does have good food and is a frequent visit of mine.
I just wanted this matter cleared up ... you decide.

Order take out and enjoy this great place. The small restaurant is very loud but popular for take out. The kitchen is clean and the food is fresh. I Love this place.

This restaurant is allways fast, and clean. The fried rice is mixed with steamed vegetables, and the chicken is breastmeat, and always freash. A very healthy meal!

The best, cheap, fast, Chinese food. And the portions are huge. Great Take-out also.

Very impressive for the fast-food-Chinese crowd. Great prices, and one take out order easily feeds two. Good food, but a bit greasy. Chicken Lo Mein and the House Fried Rice are definately the highlights at this nice little cafe.

This place is great! They now have several locations, some of which are called The Rice Boxx rather than Lover's Eggroll. But same great fresh food, fast, clean. The food is delicious at any price. Steamed dumplings really great.

Surprise, surprise. This little hole in the wall in a swank Dallas strip center has the BEST Chinese food in town. And I know Chinese food like Bob Dole knows pens. The portions are huge, the service quick and the food is fantastic. I swear by it. And you can't beat the prices. You will not be disappointed.
