These are the ribs. If you come to Dallas, you gotta get some Sonny Bryan ribs. The one on Inwood is the Original. No ambiance there but hey you’re there for Ribs!
The one in the West End has real tables. So if you need a table go to the West End Location. Ha!
The Sauce is the stuff!

I love barbeque with he sauce cook on after the meat is more than half way done. I am a lover of taste meats (beef) and stuff potatoes. The best potatoes out of side of Colters. I love the sweet potatoe pie. As a lover of sweet potatoe pie, I tried a piece, I love the taste and ordered two whole pies for my family for Easter Sunday this year.

This is a must for BBQ lovers. It is often crowded and busy. Not

for fine dinning but a must for a BBQ sandwich and some onion rings.

Whoever was talking about waiters must be talking about some other place...there are no waiters at the Inwood Rd location, which is THE Sonny Bryan's to enjoy.
A couple of brisket sannies, some O-rings with a bottle of sauce to pour on them.
YUM!

The meat is excellent. I also had a great huge baked potato and it was wonderful. They

have all kinds of vegetables as well. This is a really neat place

One of the most over-rated Q places in Texas. Often finds the national Top 10 lists, but doesn't deserve it. This is just average bbq.
Interesting location in a little schoolhouse shack complete with school desks -- and some decent onion rings -- but the meats just don't have the flavor, tenderness, or juiciness you'll find elsewhere. This isn't even in the league of some of the better places outside of Dallas.

As a Californian I love barbeque with he sauce cook on after the meat is more than half way done. My father use to make sweet potatoe pies and freeze them. My father several years ago stop making pies because he became to sick to bake. He has now pass two years ago.........So, you see I wanted to taste a memory!
Thanks for the memory.

This rest. was so disapointing that I dont know where to start. First of all they had one waiter for 25 of us! The drink order took 45 mins to complete. When we were ready to order the waiter inform us that they ran out of pork, that was the choice for most of us! When we finally received our food, some of it was uneatable! The corn on the cob was nothing but MUSH. The onion rings tasted like they were microwaved. The meat dishes were ok at the least. We were there 3 hrs. Very very disapointing!

I am from Detroit and there is nothing like this up there. Sonny Bryan's is the best BBQ I have ever had. Whenever I'm in the Dallas area, I always stop by the original location.

The best. So good that on a recent business trip back to Dallas I bought 3 jars to bring back to Indiana to show these Hoosiers what REAL BBQ is all about. Since I am a native Texan misplaced in Indiana by my job, it has been difficult to deal with these Sonny Bryan withdrawals. I love the original location on Inwood. It is full of atmosphere and the original decor is priceless.

My experience at Sonny Bryan's was one of joy and happiness. I enjoyed some of the best pork ribs in the state of Texas. The service was excellent and everyone was nice and cordial. When you are in the West End you need to eat at Sonny Bryan's. My large party of 20 plus was politely accommodated, and all had a great meal. THANKS!

This is the one, the only, the original Sonny Bryan's. Don't mess with the spinoff, go directly to the shack on Inwood to enjoy some of the best Bar-B-Q ribs in Texas. With a beer, you can't have a better lunch in town!
