Popular place. Fish and chips were good. Nothing outstanding - but easy going atmosphere - nice lunch spot.

I hate to give this place a "3-Star" rating but I feel I must. Sometimes, the small things make a big difference in one's overall rating. Our one and only visit to this establishment seemed damned from the start. Attesting to their popularity is the fact that waiting lines are very long. As we waited, it began raining which caused everyone to squeeze together to get under cover. Then a young child began crying and screaming incessantly which added to the tension. After being seated inside, we realized we were "fortunate" enough to be in the same area as the screaming child! So far, all strikes. We ordered our food and drinks. I drink a lot (not alcohol) so I was disappointed to see extremely small glasses served to us. My wife had ordered sweet tea and got non-sweetened. It was a good while before the waiter returned to correct the situation. By then, I was out of Diet Coke and requested another. Neither was replenished until our food arrived. The food was great and we had no complaints about it. But, due to the small glasses, I kept running out of drinks. The waiter seemed irritated at my refill requests but this could have been somewhat alleviated with LARGER GLASSES. So, by the time the meal was over, everybody was stressed out; me, my wife, the waiter and that screaming child! <br> NOTE TO SEA CAPTAIN'S HOUSE: Don't scrimp on the little things because they can make a big difference. It's better to waste some beverages than to have your waiters running back and forth constantly doing refills and irritating your customers. Also, butter is not gold. Give your customers more than one pat of butter for their bread. My feeling is that if you are cutting corners on items I can see, what are you doing in the kitchen that I can't see???? Hmmmm.

Oh well, don't listen to me. I won't be back again.

This restaurant is an old beach that has been converted into a restaurant. The view is wonderful and the food is very good. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only down side is the tables are too close together. A little too boxy.
