The only restaurant in its class in the entire neighborhood. A great "off the beaten path" place. Excellent choice for a quiet date. Ask for an intimate booth. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, quality entrees and good wine list.

Great classic Italian fare at reasonable prices, very competent and friendly service. I had a veal dish that was fabulous, the veal lightly egg batter breaded perfectly. I also tried some of the baked ziti...awesome.

Fantastic place! Right near the hospital district... Great classic Italian fare at reasonable prices, very competent and friendly service. I had a veal dish that was fabulous, the veal lightly egg batter breaded perfectly. I also tried some of the baked ziti...awesome. The wine list was less than spectacular, no middle ground, but that wasn't enough to drag down a great evening at Rosebud.

Great italian food. Stop in at lunch for a cheaper meal and smaller

portion. Dinner is slightly more expensive, but the food stays

the same, great!

A good old fashioned Italian place. Not cheap, but you get good service and an authentic, Italian neighborhood restaurant setting. The meats and pastas were all good. Nothing is too wild, but is a good version of the traditional dishes. The portions are huge.

Really delicious food. The seabass was great and so was the huge bowls of pasta. Atmosphere is really nice, but some tables are cramped because of the layout. Good service and a great dining experience.

I give this Italian resturant 5 stars. Sure there are plenty of other 5 star Italian food places, but this is an all around 5 star resturant. First of all it is consistant in its preparation of entrees. If I have ordered the same thing more than once, it is still as good as the first time. Their pasta with the fres tomato and basil, oil sauce is wonderful. The shrimp linguini is also a good choice. The salads are great. Secondly, the service is very attentive. Not overpowering, but right there when you need them to be! The othe Rosebud rest. are as equally wonderful and the service i on rush is even better. The service in Naperville could use to learn from the Mother house rest!! The only draw back, if this is one is the parking. Don't mind the valet, it's just that I don't know where they park the cars around there. It took the valet 20 minutes to get our car.

One word -- YUMMY!
Don't eat lunch before you go, the helpings are huge, and very tasty. I suggest ordering one entre' for every two people. I'm a big eater, and I always have plenty to take home. This is one of those places that you don't make after dinner plans. The food is so good and there is so much of it, it is difficult not to over eat.

Taylor street location has excellant food and service to match. I had a business lunch there and they did a terrific job. Did not try the wine or beer but the selection seemed good. Parking in this area is always a problem; I recomend their valet service; it is worth the small investment.

I love eating here! The pasta has to be shared because the portions are quite big, but it's worth it! Everything they serve here is so authentic tasting, and very, very good!

The best.
Easy to get to for games at the stadium, or when traffic out of the city is bad. A longer cab ride for the downtown folk (they are located over by the UIC/hospital area).
The food is the best, with portions to feed you for a week. Reservations recommended (and then plan on waiting) for great service in a 'family' resturant. The list of who has been regular is a who's who of stars.
There are cheaper (Leona's....), There are more fancier (Cumo, Nicks, Italian Village), but this is the best 'value' for a nice Italian experience.
