This is the darkest restaurant I have ever been to, but it didn't bother us too much. Very romantic, definitely for couples only. Try to get a seat at the bar while waiting for your table because they have complimentary crocks of cheese and crackers!

They have absolutely the best grilled portabella sandwhich I've tried anywhere. The portabella mushroom is thick and robust with a good flavor. Took my aunt and uncle visiting from India and they loved it there. From the appetizers, the calamari was excellent, and the crab rangoon and salmon rolls were hits as well. Strawberry cheesecake of course, was excellent. Service was very, very good...the waiter was freindly and good humored in a way that suited the environment. Portions are large, so you get good value. We went for lunch on a weekday, and there was basically no wait. Great location, too...being at the base of the Hancock building, its a nice place for lunch after being up at the observatory.

The food was good, but thier house wine was horrible. It had to be the worst wine I ever had. Of course the cheese cake was great.

Lines are long in this chain restaurant. The cheesecake is good, although it can feel a little gummy. The portions are huge. Split one if you don't have a big, and I mean huge, appetite.

Don't go here. It's just a lame chain restaurant with oversized portions for oversized customers. The cheesecake is passable. The food is passable and overpriced. There are so many good restaurants in Chicago that you would be wasting your time and money going here.

THis place is absolutely great!! i could eat here everyday.. The atmosphere is quite overpowering with all the activity all around you... I have to say that this place is worth eating over and over again!!

The food at this chain is always great, but watch what time you

are heading to eat. The wait can be outragoeus, which says a lot

about this establishment. The food is okay, but the fast service

and atmosphere are worth the wait, most times!

Excellent cheesecake indeed. But no mentioned the great pasta. I know people who wouldn't eat anywhere else while shopping downtown.

Okay, the food is good, but can someone please explain to me the appeal of these places? Lord, the wait can be forever. This is in a trendy area downtown, and I guess that explains a lot of it. Good food, drinks are reasonable, and the price is a reasonable value. Go. Particularly at Christmas time.

This is one of the best places I have ever dined at. First I thought that all they had was cheesecake like the name says but, they have an aray of item on the menu. I had to wait a while for an table and the menu was kinda expense but, its worth it. The bar is a good place to hang out and have drink. Now this is where I take a lady to show a good time.

Hi, my work had a student party ( I work for Aurthur Murray Dance Studios) and we had an absolute wonderful time! The bill from what I could remember was quite high (over $600) for some cheese cake and drinks maybe 3 dinners and all. But seriously! THE VERY BEST! I tried about 4 different types of cheesecake that nite! I was in heaven!

I swear this is the best cheesecake I have had in my life! I love this place and wish they had one where I live cause I can only go when I come to chicago to see my family but I always make it my business to visit this place

One of the best place in Chicago to come for dessert and stay for dinner. Try the cheesecake, ice cream combinations, and cake. The entree selections are also delicious.
