La fogata is in a strip mall, but there's a lively neighborhood-bar
feel to the restaurant as well. they also have an outdoor seating area,
which is nice. their menu selections are decently priced - i had the
enchiladas suizas from the lunch menu, they were $6.95. shmackyrelish
had combo #9, a ground beef taco and a tamale. i noticed that their flour
tortillas are not made in-house, but on the other hand - they take the
entertainment book! no pork carnitas on the menu, which is always a
negative for me. the chips were served hot, but the salsa had that canned
tomato taste, and very little cilantro or spicing. all in all, okay
but not great.

As far as a bar goes, La Fogata is the worst around. They can's
seem to decide what type of music to play songs are played back
to back that should never be heard together. The drinks are overpriced
and "the regulars" are very rude - with minimal security
from the bouncers.
