Decent Mexican food with enormous portions. You will probably need a doggy-bag when you go home!

La fogata is in a strip mall, but there's a lively neighborhood-bar feel to the restaurant as well. they also have an outdoor seating area, which is nice. their menu selections are decently priced - i had the enchiladas suizas from the lunch menu, they were $6.95. shmackyrelish had combo #9, a ground beef taco and a tamale. i noticed that their flour tortillas are not made in-house, but on the other hand - they take the entertainment book! no pork carnitas on the menu, which is always a negative for me. the chips were served hot, but the salsa had that canned tomato taste, and very little cilantro or spicing. all in all, okay but not great.

The food is excellent, and I've never had service problems. This is kind of a hidden location from the main drag, but business has been good enough to allow for a couple of expansions. During the summer they offer outside seating. I recommend the Molé.

As far as a bar goes, La Fogata is the worst around. They can's seem to decide what type of music to play songs are played back to back that should never be heard together. The drinks are overpriced and "the regulars" are very rude - with minimal security from the bouncers.

ive been going to this resturant for like 5 years, and always come back. my ex girlfriend and i went there all the time. i ordered the enchiladas rancheras time after time. i ordered mine with cheese rather than meat, but meat would be good too. La Fogata was our place. i love the chips and salsa. The place is decorated with a "Goya" moteif. that beautiful painting of the mexican woman with all the calilillies. great salsa. mints after of course. the chile reanos are really diffrent then anywhere else. the wrapping is omlet like. its really good. also ive noticed many mexican people who eat this soup that is called gespatcho i think ....it looked great. good selection of beer. i am a mexican addict.

My boyfriend and I found La Fogata through a coupon book a couple years ago. What a great place. The newer addition is wonderful and colorful. The owner is always very friendly and likes to chat with the customers. The service is pretty good. Sometimes they're shy but always friendly.

I tell everyone about this place. The food is always good and hot. Very generous portions. The salsa is the best. Lately I've been enjoying the Fajita Burrito. It's huge! I always have to take some home with me. I've never had a bad meal here.

It can be a little hard to find but worth the search. You can see Natures across the street or look for PetCo. It's behind it. Have fun and enjoy!

Wow!! My favorite Mexican joint in all of Beaverton. The food is excellent!! Everything is clean, and the atmosphere is more like a nice restaurant than a cantina. I love the taquitos on the appetizer menu. If you didn't know this restaurant is here, it would be kind of difficult to find, since it is in a strip mall. I highly recommend it....definitely worth finding!

La Fogata is one of the best all-around Mexican restaurants in town. Lunch and dinner meals are high quality and satisfying. The portions are enormous. My standard favorite is Chili Colorado, but various shrimp and chicken dishes are also excellent. Service is spotty. They try, but miss much of the time. The food is worth it though. Located toward the back of Canyon Place shopping center.
