Nice family-owned joint. Great place to take kids after an outing.
Nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned ice cream and simple menu with
hot dogs, sandwiches, and the normal types of food you would make at
home. Casual atmosphere, kid friendly.

This is the ice cream parlor from your childhood. Nothing fancy,
no marble slabs, but great, honest ice cream at a fraction of the
price of a boutique place.

We stop here after going to the Zoo or Fairytale land. A grilled
cheese sandwich or old fashioned hotdog followed by a huge dish
of ice cream. Heaven.

And as previously noted, famili owned.

Oh my, all I can say is when she gave this huge dish of ice cream,
our eyes popped out of our heads. The two of us could not finish.
There are other selections of sizes. But their is just something
about trying to eat more ice cream than you should. I say try at
least once, but dont make it habit.

Only tried the ice cream, but it was great. Nice and cheap, and
better than any store bought kind you could find in local shops.
It's family owned, so get to know them.

Very good icecream..mmmmmm People hang out after event in the
area. Alot of families come here. The food is not too hot. but if
your looking for icecream..i definately recommend here.

You just can't tell someone how good the ice cream is here. It is
GREAT. You'll have to experience it for yourself. My favorite
is a black and tan. How can anyone eat a Daddy Dave's? That's the
biggest plate of ice cream I've ever seen. Most of the food is just
average here but there is one exception. Their crab sandwich
is a perfect creation and they use real crab. I suggest you share
a sundae though. All of them are super big.

AN OLD TIME FAVORITE OF LOCALS. THIS FAMILY OWNED AND RUN LOCATION
OF THE ORIGINAL LEATHERBY FAMILY IS A FAVORITE. THERE ARE LARGE
CROWDS ON THE WEEKENDS OR WHEN THE WEATHER WARMS UP. MY FAVORITE
DISH IS THE DADDY DAVE'S. IT IS AN OVERSIZED, DOUBLE BANANA SPLIT,
WITH THREE MOUNDS OF HOMEMADE ICE CREAM THAT TAKES THREE PEOPLE
TO FINISH. THE FOOD THERE HOWEVER IS ONLY AVERAGE. COME FOR THE
ICECREAM AND THE FRIENDLY FAMILY ATMOSPHERE AND YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
