My wife and I stopped here for dinner in Octobe of 1998 while traveling
back to Illinois. Prior to arriving, we had spent several hours doing
the tourist thing in town, including eating ice cream. So, we were wanting
to eat something but were not all that hungry. We got the brilliant idea
of ordering some appetizers instead of main entres. Good concept,
poor execution! We ordered, I think, three appetizers which turned
out to be WAY TOO MUCH food. It was good though. We learned a lesson. And I do want to mention that the place is what I call "pleasant
surroundings" which is probably more of a tribute to the friendly
staff than the decor (not that it was not fine also).

My family and I have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed
the food. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very
nice, too. I recommend this restaurant.
