McCormick's and McCormick and Schmicks are the same restaurant. I wrote a review for McCormick and Schmicks, before I realized there were two entries for the same place. The real name of the place is McCormick and Schmick's Fish House and Bar- address: 9945 SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, located in Beaverton. Phone- (503) 643-1322. They also have another restaurant with a similar name in downtown Portland (McCormick and Schmick's Seafood restaurant). Perhaps you should combine the two McCormick's entries for the Beaverton location into one .

Very fine dining. For an enjoyable formal evening, this is the place. The rock shrimp popcorn appetizer is a must.

The name is "McCormacks" and it is a seafood restaurant. It is owned by "McCormacks and Schmick", another seafood restaurant in downtown Portland. It and the Greenwood Inn's Pavilion are the two best restaurants between downtown Portland and the coast. It serves a broad range of fresh seafood and a few non-seafood items for the faint of heart. The menu is extensive and printed daily. The menu includes light (and less expensive) dishes. They have a children's menu that is undistinguished. It has a full bar, in which you (but not your children) can eat if you wish, but in which other patrons can smoke. The help is cheerful and competent; they have very low staff turnover. The motif is nautical. The tables and booths are covered by tablecloths; one is given cloth napkins. It is noisy. Reservations accepted. Crowded Thursday-Saturday evenings.
