Great restaurant will go there again. I just think that the service
need to be quicker. But overall, it was good food, great atmosphere
and good service.

My BF and I went here on a non-busy Saturday night for a late dinner. We
always like to try new places, so when passing this Italian restaurant
on El Camino, we figured might as well. We waited in the front room for about 7 minutes with no hostess in sight.
We the hostess came, we asked to see the menu which she then handed to
us without a word then disappeared again. Ten minutes later she reappears
and we asked to be seated. She motioned us to a table near the back of the
room, hardly saying anything to us and not even wishing us a pleasant
meal (standard in restaurants, right?). Our waiter was much worse. He NEVER looked us in the eyes, seemed to roll
his eyes when re requested a bottle of wine. We didn't understand
why he was so rude to us yet so polite and friendly to the couple sitting
right next to us! Other points that made us decide to NEVER go back: - There was a hair on the table!
- The bread was obviously a day old, it was hard and not even warm
- Our waiter never checked in on us, only brought the food and the check
- Our bread plates stayed on the table through the whole meal The ONLY good thing about it was the lasagna was pretty good. My BF's
pizza didn't look like anything special though. For lasagna and good pizza, stick with Frankie, Johnie & Luigi's
just down El Camino in Mountain View....

Best Italian food in a long time. The food is excellent!! The place
is small so call ahead. The parking is terrible but the food more
than makes up for it. Oh yeah, the waiters are GORGEOUS!!!

Atmosphere: Above average to excellent
Crowd: Varies
Dress: Casual
Food: Excellent
Noise: Pleasantly quiet
Service: Above average to excellent
Comments: I called very late (9:15) to bring a party of five. The
hostess was quite kind over the phone about that (since it was
a change from my reservation for myself only) and then when we
arrived with five plus one, she simply smiled and took us to our
reasonably large booth in the back corner. Now, imagine a Marie
Callendar's with plusher booths, real table-cloths and napkins,
candles on the table, and tasteful decorations lining the walls
(I know, I should be burned at the stake for comparing their atmosphere
to Marie's but that's the best way to describe it to someone that
has never been). Sufficed to say, the atmosphere was QUITE nice
but nothing too fancy or over-blown. One of our servers was possibly
ever-so-slightly snobbish but, he was not rude and gave us prompt
service and our other server was VERY nice (cool as I would call
it) and laughed at our rambunctious party. There was one other
couple in there eating but they didn't seem to be annoyed at our
relatively loud party. The servers CONTINUALLY (not annoyingly,
though) filled our drinks and brought full bread-baskets, of
course, this attention may have been due to the fact that we were
one of the only parties there. We received our dinners. I had the
tortellini alfredo. It was served simply in a bowl/plate with
just the RIGHT amount of alfredo, so as to not be drowning but plenty
garnished. Everyone agreed that the food was spectacular (though
some were uncomfortable with how loud they were versus how quiet
the restaurant was). This food was DEFINITELY a step up from the
food at Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi too or Florentine (two of
my *** Italian establishments). I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant,
but only if you like Italian. For those of you who don't like Italian,
this would NOT be the place to go.
