This place is known for it's beer but I didn't taste the beer! The
food is very good -- especially the seafood. The portions are
large so I had a doggie bag to bring home!

The beer is the reason to stop, the food is there if you care to eat.
They have tried different menus but all seem to be too much for
a brew pub. They should stick to a basic menu with good sandwitches,
some sausages, and compliment the beer and try not to be "fancy:.
It's a brew pub not a fine french bistro.

The main reason to stop is the Abita Beer on tap from
the brewery , try the Turbo Dog if you like dark beers
but the food is very good also , as are the appetizers .

Nice ambiance and good--albeit unusual--food. Abita Brew Pub
has nouveau type food; it's a very "Mandeville" place to eat.
The duck that I ate there was very tasty. The building is pretty
and the atmosphere is quiet. It's a low-key, relaxing place to
eat.
