This place has the coolest name in thew world. I play music every
week at woodlands BBq in Blowing Rock North Carolina. Boss HAwg
is my bands name and we are professional hawg hunters. I bet this
BBQ isn't as good as mine here in NC. JOn JON

I have only been here once and I would say it is about average. It
definately doesn't hold a stick to KC BBQ. I dont recommend
it for BBQ lovers.

I have been back about 3 times in the last and quality has gone down
a little each time -- maybe its just me but this is now just little
more than an average+ BBQ place, mostly because the prices have
stayed high but the quality of the BBQ meats was not maintained.

Once again, Topeka, you gotta go to KC for your BBQ

Best ribs in area. Best ribs in state. Best ribs in region.
Very little to no fat on ribs. Consistent quality.
$10+ for best ribs.
Also has shredded meats and bbq chicken of good to excellent quality.
Da ribs are to die for, anyone can smoke meat, top notch ribs are
the mark of a true artisan.
Clean, Clean, Clean surroundings. Generally packed in evenings.
The place has been open several years, expanded to the north and
held its consistent quality and draws a consistent Topeka region
crowd to a non-chain restaurant past 7:00 pm all week long ...
if you know what I mean.
Almost as good as Old Country Buffet ... Topeka's other highest
rated restaurant ... oh yeah and DQ.
Let's see the DQ full meal deal or ribs at Boss Hawgs? Bet Topeka
would vote for the DQ meal.
This is world class ribs -- no joke.
You aint gotta go to KC no more.
