I've honestly haven't been as disappointed in a top-rated
restaurant as I was at Nonna's. I think I would have gotten just
as good a meal at a local chain restaurant for a quarter of the price.
My husband and I ordered the calamari and tomato bisque soup. The calamari
was tastless and boring, the soup tasted like a came out of a can. Our
entrees, which were over $30 a piece were just as dull. The most disturbing
part of the meal was the strawberry shortcake, which was literally
sitting in a bowl of sugar water with canned whip cream sprayed on top
(by 7 pm they were out of all of their chocolate dishes). Instead of real
cream with our coffee we were given milk. At $75 a person, I'd at
the very least expect real cream with my coffee. This had to be one of
the most truly disappointing meals I've had in a long time. The
atmosphere was pleasant and pleasing to the senses, however I'd
rather just save $100 go to big chain restaurant and use my imagination.
Nonna's is the best expensive resturant on the southside
of Oklahoma City. This place has impressive pastries. The quality
of food is excellent. Salids are as impressive as the deserts.
Great for entertaining or for a special event.

Upscale dining in a European styled setting. Nice selection
of European and American favorites. Very good selection of seafood
(rare in OKC area) and outstanding fresh vegetables grown by
the owners. Can be a little hard to find - located behind the art
gallery. Enjoy.
