Best in the State!!! Great Steak...Great Lunch (I prefer lunch)....and the desserts are to die for....

(I recommend lunch just for the selection - Hill City is a great place to visit during the day - shop, sight see and have lunch!

High quality filet mignon for $10 there really isn't much more you should need to say, but the service was very friendly and helpful when I was there as well.

The meal was wonderful and cheap. However, if you have children with you and they don't care for filet, the only other choice at supper is a "gourmet" hotdog. Fantastic desert menu. We had a slice of frozen capuccino pie. Homemade. Do they give recipes? We are from NC and probably never be able to go there again.

Excellent steaks! Excellent prices! Excellent desserts!! Excellent service! Excellent atmopshere!! The people at this restaurant generally go out of the way to help in anyway possible and are friendly. This is however another place that is always busy, so plan ahead.

The dinner menu is simple, but excellent. The lunch menu has a wide variety of sanwhiches. We tried the roast beef and cheddar, and turkey club type. The cold german potato salad was excellent.

Strange Restaurant - You don't get a Menu - Just Filet Mignon (6 or 8 oz) the waitress asks which size you would prefer, 1/4 head of Iceburg lettuce, Baked Potato & Texas Toast. The wait was pretty long & the service, though friendly was a little slow, my husband's steak was tender, mine was a little tough.

Well their menu is simple but the taste is anything but simple. I have never had a bad steak at the Alpine and the service has always been friendly and prompt. I would recommend the Alpine highly for a nice romantic evening.

they only serve one thing here-filet mignon, but hy would you want anything else? excellent steak for as cheap as you will find. be prepared to wait.

simple menu filet mignon very popular place great mignon , salads you don't have trouble deciding there's not much on the menu have tons of desserts to choose from, recommend this place if your going up there, you won't be disapointed.
