Excellent food, service, and great atmosphere. It's very difficult
getting reservations here -- we walked in and were able to get
a table since a group cancelled. We came on recommendations from
our friend's local friends. The restaurant is decorated with
Southwestern artifacts. Our waiter made excellent recommendations,
was friendly and attentive.
Every course of our meal was a treat. The fresh bread came with
a delicious dipping sauce. Some of the appetizers and starters
we sampled were chile relleno, tortilla soup, and mushroom soup
-- all were flavorful without being overpowering. The entrees
we chose included elk & caribou (free range with no gamey taste),
and Chilean sea bass. Everything was beautifully presented
(some on heavy rough-hewn marble plates!) and cooked perfectly.
By dessert time we were too full plus nothing piqued our interest.
