This review concerns the restaurant on Century Blvd. attached
to Travellodge Motel in Los Angeles. I have eaten many times at
various Dennys across the USA and have been quite satisfied with
the food and service. My experience at thois restaurant was the
worst I have ever experienced at almost any restaurant. I had
an overdone and very greasy hamburger and less than mediocre
french fries. My wife had a taco salad which she said was terrible.
It took about 30 minutes to be served and there was a lot of yelling
in the kitchen (including the manager who was loudly reprimanding
the cook(s)). Our waitress was competent and apologized to us
but that was not satisfactory. You may write to me if you have questions.

My advise is to not go after dark because it attracts a strange
crowd for some reason. The food is below average and the service
is lacking. Also, not a good place for a date.

Ok. To be honest, I can't really say much about Denny's
that is good in particular. Their food isn't great. Their
atmosphere isn't great and their service isn't great.
However, that being said, their food isn't bad, their atomosphere
isn't bad and their service isn't bad. So, if you want
a classic not-too-bad and not-too-good meal one that just serves
to fill you up, Denny's is the place for you.
The big thing about Denny's is the hours. Other than Wendy's
Denny's is probably open the latest in town.

Does anyone come to Denny's for the food? Ok, maybe the breakfast
menu... It's the hours they are open that keeps us coming back,
and the endless pot of coffee. The last waitress I had there had
a fabulous dry sense of humor, she made being up at 3 am fun!
