Well, it was good. It was very good. But it was expensive. Too expensive.
This is one of those places that everybody knows and the reputation
rests on its reputation and not on its merits. The food was good.
The service was excellent and the der was pleasant/ But I thought
the prices were outrageous.

I have heard a lot about this place. But I was disappointed with
the hype. It's not that good of a place to impress your date. The
food is good, don't get me wrong, but the atmosphere is average
or below average.

This small chain of top scale steak houses is still excellent
after decades of business. It's still expensive, too, as you
can easily drop $200 on a nice dinner for 2-3 people. Typical entrees
are in the $20 to $40 range, are cooked to order with precision,
and have generous portions.
Locations on 6th Street across from Hospital of the Good Samaritan
near downtown Los Angeles, and a Santa Monica Location on Wilshire
Blvd.
Great place for extremely big power business lunches and dinners,
or a quiet, classy dinner with someone really special. Yes, you
can go more casual in dress. It's a good place with outstanding
USDA Prime meats on the menu.
High recommendation!
Easily the best service I have ever experienced in all my years
living in Los Angeles! I have eaten in Steak houses in Chicago,
Los Angeles, New York, and Miami....this is with out a doubt one
of the best in the and certainly the finest on the West Coast.
