Waffle fries were so over done, they were like cardboard. They charge $16 bucks for a flat iron steak that was the size of an burger...well they did have a TON of french fries on it, I guess that justified the price. 1 STAR--- I would have eaten better at Wendy's. My advice, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!! less

I've driven back from Massachusetts and stopped there for dinner - I've taken my boss who heads a multimillion dollar organization there for dinner - my best friends and I go there. The Caesar salad is a favorite among my friends, and the veal dishes are very nice. TRY IT! You'll like it! less

Upon arriving at 8pm we were told our table was not re ... more Michael H. - Four of us went to the Crystal Lake Hotel restaurant last night. We made a reservation for 8pm. Upon arriving at 8pm we were told our table was not ready. BTW, we could see many empty tables. After sitting at the bar for more than 30 minutes, we inquired about our table. In response to our inquiry, we were told our table was ready and were seated at one of the tables that was empty and ready when we arrived. Our experience at the bar set the tone for the night. My wife asked if the bartender could make a mojito, he said yes, so we all ordered mojitos. The bartender did not have any lime or simple syrup.... our mojitos were a glass of rum with a small amount of mint and club soda. It was like drinking straight liquor. When I politely commented to the bartender that they did not taste right he offered to pour some ginger ale in our glasses and commented that he was surprised we were used to drinking "weak" mojitos. He did however remove ONE mojito from our bill (one out of four). We moved to our table and were very warmly greeted and handed menus that look nothing like the menu on their website. There were very few choices, less than a third shown on the website. When we inquired if they might have choices not on the menu, such as steak, they told us about a $40 filet mignon and a $50 NY Strip any sauce would be extra. So we ordered. Our apps took forever. When I inquired about our order, instead of checking on the status, I was told everything is made to order. Once the food arrived it was delicious. But for the price it was not so great - $18 for eggplant parm, $22 for chicken, $28 for salmon.. We enjoyed our meal until the espresso and cordials. The cordials were tiny. At this point we were not holding anything back. My sister-in-law asked why her baileys was so small. The waitress's response to this was to get a shot glass from the bar, pour her baileys into the glass to show that it was a full ounce and then pour it back into her glass. You have got to be kidding me. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. BTW - Our bill was $300 plus tip for four people. It was not the food or the prices that were the problem, it was the staff (including the owners) and their responses to minor issues. less

We go this establishment often, and since the new owners took over in 2/2008, it is even better. Food is Great and lots of Fun

After about 10 minutes another customer who was sitting at the bar mentioned that we were waiting. The bartender rudely told her, yeah so are the other people at the other end of the bar. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt waited another 5 minutes, then he finally got us a beer. Never asking later if we wanted another one so we asked for the check, and that took another 15minutes to get. By then the place had emptied out. The bartenders were extremely rude, made what was supposed to be a fun night out - regretful - should have waited after the first remark was made!!! Will never return!!! less

Very tasty pizzas. Fast service. Your pizza is actually delivered hot. I have no idea how they pull that off, but I love it.
