My kids will eat anything and when the Pizza came they dove in and then stopped. All 3 kids would not touch another slice. I took a bite and I can honestly say it was the worst pizza I ever Had. Decided to eat my hoagie and that ws just as bad. An Ital. sub with mostly a Round mystery meat. It was bad, so bad I could not eat it. My brother had a Philly sub and his was not as bad but bad. In the past this place was our go to place when in Andover, after this trip I will not go back for a long time. I had to buy my my kids McNuggets next door after we left. I do not recoment this place. My parents went there not knowing our experince and asked for the senior discount that was displayed on the wall and the watress asked to see her Drivers Lic and stated, sorry you are not a Buckeye, my 75 year old mother did not know what that was and assumed the worst. less

He had no idea what I ordered and apparently neither did the people working there! He brought home two completely wrong orders! I call back and the girl "Arielle" says "Yeah, we made the wrong order and finished your order after your husband left" and I asked her why she didn't call me so I could let him know and she asked me if I wanted to talk to the manager. The manager, who happens to be the son of the owner, then proceeds to try to make excuses as to why this whole thing was MY fault! Seriously?! I was advised that next time I should give my husband a list so he will know what I ordered. He made claims that they were extremely busy when this took place. My husband said that when he went to pick this up, there were two people in the restaurant and another person picking his order up. This isn't the first time that they've screwed up like this. As it was, my husband had to wait for the order when he got there. Why ask for names and phone numbers then when orders are placed? And when I told the manager that I wanted the owner to call me his response was (this is classic) "That's my mom and believe me, she'll be calling you". Really?! Absolutely amazing the depth of incompetence of the people running this place! A complete free for all in there! The food might be good but it's not good enough to put up with this type of crap! I urge everyone I know to boycott this establishment where apparently the customer isn't right, the manager is because his Mommy owns the place! less

I like pub-grub sitting at the bar with a beer when I have to eat alone. So, I sat at the bar and ordered food and a beer. Shortly thereafter, a couple with a child came in and sat at a nearby table to have dinner. The loudmouth, headache-inducing, barmaid took their order and proceeded to go into a shtick of profanities as if she were an Asian prostitute. "OOOOH ME LOVE YOU LONG TIME"... that kind of thing. Only the language got much worse... even though there was a child present. Then, while this was all going on one of the more colorful denizens started to chat me up. The guy looked like a bum and just plain smelled. My dinner didn't even come before he was trying to sell me drugs. There are only a couple other places in this small town to set at the bar and have a beer. But they are nice. You need to consider one of those first. less

There are a lot of Italian restaurants in Cleveland, but if you're tired of snooty upscale restaurants or trendy places with a lot of frills and small portions, than Stancato's is a breath of fresh air. The food tastes homemade and their buffets offer a great selection of all-you-can-eat goodness. less
