We were hoping to find a place that served breakfast all day, but when we saw a line of locals standing on the sidewalk, waiting for the Cafe to open at 11am for the Sunday Buffet, we figured we had a winner. Within 10 minutes of the doors being unlocked, every seat was full and more were waiting. The buffet ($9.95/adult; $7.95 for 7 yr old; $4.95 for 4 yr old when we were there in July '09) was stocked with the freshest, best prepared, mouthwatering food we had during the entirety of our vacation. Every single thing we tried -- and there was a LOT of variety -- was fantastic. The day we were there, the buffet included fried chicken, roast beef, bbq brisket and 3 or 4 other meat dishes; cucumbers and tomatoes fresh from the garden in a homemade cream and dill sauce (that I'd have taken home a gallon of if they'd have let me), scalloped potatoes seasoned with ham, mashed potatoes like your grandmother made, sweet potatoes, and more than a dozen other vegetables and salads. We were too stuffed to try the pie. If I were driving cross country on I-80, I'd consider the 17 miles (each way) from the interstate to the Cozy Inn Cafe well worth it to eat there. less

The steakhouse doesn't open until 11am. They have one of my favorite, Rocky Mountain Oyster's which I will try on my next trip to Denver. It's been there for many years by the look's of the wild game mounts from all over the world. A Must Stop. less

I was ready to leave..but my wife and our friends were insistent on staying...just when we ALL had about enough of this terrible service.....the food arrived....I was really upset...and was no longer willing to accept this poor service..and told them I lost my appetite because of how they treated us.....the wait person took my plate of food and dumped it into the tray of trash.....then she came back about 5 minutes later and announced she now talked to the manager and our food would be complimentary on them that day... I never did get anything to eat.... I have no intention of every going back to Shari's in Grants Pass, OR the place I have lived now for over 30 years..and have every intention of warning everyone I know who travel through here as well as all my friends and family of the worst service ever received at Sharis Restaurant in Grants Pass, OR If you still want to go there..I suggest you take a good book, and have no other plans for your day....you will be there a long long time..waiting for your food. less

The food is good but the service is simply terrible, with waits up to 2 hours. One or two servers for the entire building leads to servers being unfriendly & rude and customers being treated badly. I have dined there and on more than one occasion, several groups of customers who had waited and waited, grew tired of waiting and simply walked out. It is not good business when a restaurant feels that their food is so supreme that they don't feel obligated to offer any type of decent service to the working man who spends his hard earned monies there. It is quite apparent in the previous statement that this is a well know community fact. If I were a tourist and looking for a nice place to dine with my family after a long and tiring trip, I don't think Rositas would show much in the hospitality department. Not good for Scottsbluff tourism, which we are everyday trying to improve and find ways to bring people into the community and show them our pride. less
