Since Iâ€™m quite familiar with Chinese food (business trip to China) I agree that Ming Dynastyâ€™s food is authentic to the Mandarin kitchen. The Peking duck was the best I ever ate. Peking duck normally calls for a lighter red wine like a Pinot Noir. The white wine they recommended was a Pinot Grigio, which was perfectly in balance with the food. Actually thinking about it Peking duck is all about the crispy skin, which works well with something more acidic. The waitress was very nice and gave excellent recommendations. Lovely atmosphere and it was a pleasure to talk to the restaurant owner, Mary. A restaurant, that offers good food, a warm atmosphere and excellent service. less

Location is at 10th street across Hastings Ford, at the other side of Greenville Blvd. At first sight especially from the outside it doesnâ€™t look too impressive. Anyhow once decided to take a chance I must admit that it is a great place to be and diner! Ambiance is great, Food is great and service is great. Good sized portions and prices are rather at low side. They offer takeout, lunch and diner. Daily buffet or off the menu. I tried Chinese, actually mandarin food, off the menu which was delicious. It's healthy food the way they prepare it. They also have a bar where you can get low priced drinks several time a week. A nice and friendly place to hang around. Me and some fellow students went there several times and definitely will return. less

Server was friendly and helpful with our questions. When you order an entree, it does not include a salad. You can order a salad and pay extra. less

I had to stir my unsweet tea with my finger and ask for a spoon. When she returned she only brought just a spoon and layed it on the table. We sat waiting for someone to wait on us for 15-20 mins and I had to get up and ask someone to wait on us. After we ordered the ticket time was rediculous for a salad and muffins and the waitress still didn't bring out silverware I had to ask for a fork for my salad. I was so upset I didn't leave a tip at all! I checked my account today and they added a tip anyway...I am getting ready to call them and complain! less
