It only gets better. We drive 45 miles to get here, just for the atmosphere. The pies are terrific and the salads out of this world...

We went based on this siteâ€™s high ratings and were amazed at how bad the food was. The prices are not cheap, the food was terrible and the service was average at best. The ambience is nice but that said, it isn't worth going back ever again. Iâ€™ve never written a review but felt I should save someone out there from wasting their money because these ratings of 5 stars are either very old or from people who have very low expectations of Thai and sushi. The sushi was NOT fresh, completely tasteless; the Yellow Tail and Tuna were chewy and bland. (I've had better sushi from Kroger.) The Chicken Satay was so overcooked, chewy and hard I could barely saw through it with the knife. I gave up on that â€“ if I canâ€™t even cut it with a knife, it isnâ€™t going to taste good. The Krab Rangoon and Crispy Roll were also flavorless with a slight hint of yucky, old grease taste. I ate a couple of each and decided it wasnâ€™t worth eating any more. If you want Thai, Sy Thai is St. Clair Shores (while not as good as when it opened) is still FAR better. For Sushi and Asian, Mon Jin Lau in Troy still ranks as the only place with the BEST Sushi and Asian cuisine in Metro Detroit. less

I was disappointed that they didnt have the shrimp chips, but then again, most of the thai resturants I have been going dont have them anymore. I was looking for my usual dish of veggie curry but didnt see one that had the variety of veggies Im used to. They had no problem substituting one of the other dishes and switching out the sauce for me. It was great. Im a hot food fanatic and its hot here. I got the mild hot and was just write for my taste buds. I will definitely go back.I have four favorites and this is one of them now. less
