However, i still eat here. if you are hungry at 2 am and in Baltimore, it is worth the trip. Bookmaker is a staple and very good, although has gotten smaller over time. I like that you can do half orders. less

They opened another location in Owings Mills, and Somewhere else near Hammonds Ferry Rd, that has already closed. I used to love the food, but it has went down a lot in quality and the price is high. It lacks flavor other than salt, it doesn\\\'t even resemble Mexican Food. If you want ok food, eat here, if you want real Mexican food, don\\\'t let this place fool you. I tried the place near Hammonds Ferry Several times and it was scary, grungy kids cooking your food, that were more interested in watching TV than worrying about your order. All that is left is Owings Mills. less

I sat down at a hightop in the bar area and was greeting within seconds of being there by a nice outgoing young lady. She asked what i would like to drink, I asked her what were the beer selections and she named off a great selection of beers. I chose the new end of the world shock top! It was my first time trying it and it was delicious. Next I definitely wanted to try the wings, I asked my server to explain how the wing selection works, without hesitation she explained it and recommended some flavors. I chose 1LB(7 wings) of sweet and tangy and 1LB of speciality wings (2 flavors mixed) Roasted garlic and Teriyaki. They came out within 15 mins of me ordering. They were perfectly cooked and the flavors were absolutely delicious!! I have gone back many times after my first experience. I would recommend BWB to any of my friends and family! less

BAT2012   -   My sons soccer team recently wanted to host a party for the entire team. a coworker of mine mentioned that a new BWB had opened in Germantown, having been long time fans of the Gaithersburg and Cloverly locations. We are ha[ppy to report that the newest Germantown location is just if not better then the original locations. The service and attention to detail is fantastic. The wings and beer prices are unbeatable, and the atmosphere is alot of fun perfect for a night out with the adults for a few drinks also doubles as a fun and respectable place to bring the kids as well. We have been very happy with all of our BWB expediences and will continue to be loyal customers. less

During the week, Monday-Friday, 11am-2pm, there's 35, yes i said THIRTY-FIVE lunch specials for just $6,$7,& $8, all including small fries, a pickle spear, and a 20 oz soda! On top of those great specials, Pool/Billiards is FREE during lunch hours! Monday-Sunday, there is a daily dinner special, and Saturdays kids eat FREE off our kids menu with each purchase of an adult entree! Not to mention, Monday-Friday, Happy Hour from 4-7, $1 off all beer, & $1.95 apps! Overall there's great prices, great food, great staff, & a friendly environment.. We got lucky and ended up going in on "kids eat free night" with 3 kids eating out can get expensive so this was awesome! Not only that been the dinners and platters are very reasonably priced and the appetizer list is almost never ending. The kids had a great time playing the different arcade games throughout the restaurant and my husband and I got to enjoy a beer in a fun and welcoming environment, will definitely be returning!! less

lauramk   -   Honey Pig really is a small slice of South Korea tucked into the DC suburbs. From its dark and industrial-styled interior to its straightforward, unembellished service and the thumping pop on the sound system it feels like stepping into another country when one enters this restaurant. Tucked into a small shopping center the lines to get in can sometime wrap around the building. It’s mostly Asian and Asian-American clientele are also a credit to the authenticity of the food. When we visited, we were lucky enough to just walk in and be seated at a nearby table with a built-in gas range to cook our dishes on. After ordering from their simple but sufficient menu, we started with a nicely variant banchan consisting of Kimchi of both Napa cabbage and cucumber; a green salad with a spicy soy dressing; a delicate lightly sweet radish preparation that resembled pickled ginger but that had a light, refreshing flavor (Musaengchae); a spinach dressed with sesame oil, garlic and soy sauce (Siegumuchi namul); Kongnamul, the parboiled bean sprouts with sesame oil and something I’ve never seen before and don’t know the name, but it was sort of a Korean cole-slaw with what tasted like a dilute mayonnaise dressing. I’m going to find out more about this dish and wonder if it is a Korean-American creation. In addition to the seven banchan, they served a Gyeran Jiim of light and frothy steamed eggs in a hot pot that was heavenly. My husband and I split an ice-cold bottle of Bek-Se-Ju which if you’ve never had it is an herbed rice wine that tastes more like a slightly thickened chamomile tea than alcohol. It also contains the adaptogen schizandra. Utensils (sujeo) consisted of the Korean long-handled spoon and chop sticks – which for the kids still learning how to use them were connected at the top to make it easier for them to pick items up. Fresh lettuce leaves were also available for those wishing to wrap portions of their meals. We enjoyed the banchan and cajoled the kids into trying some while the wait staff prepared and started to cook our meals. The girls shared long looks when the waitress came over with a pair of industrial scissors to cut down the bits of cooking meat into bite-size pieces. Each dish was also cooked with plenty of thinly sliced garlic to heighten the flavor of the grilled dishes and there was steamed rice all round. My husband and I shared a delicious pork and octopus dish sautéed with onions and in red chili sauce (gochuchang), the girls shared a fiery chicken dish also cooked in red chili sauce and my son with his more delicate taste went for a marinated beef bulgogi that was gently flavored with a light soy-based sauce. My son also ordered Doenjang Jigae – a traditional soup that was gently flavored with on-the-bone beef and plenty of greens and onions, and we all sampled the Kimchi stew. I have mostly praise for Honey Pig, if there were issues, the octopus was a little tough – which could be easily remedied by cooking it less and I’d like to see a bit less red-chili sauce on the dishes – which were in my opinion, swimming in it. Next time we go – and there will be a next time – we’ll sample the more traditional galbi or short ribs and samgyeopsal – unsalted pork belly (bacon). For those living in or visiting the Baltimore/DC area, this restaurant is a casual taste of the food and food-culture of Korean peninsula and manages to be both funky and family friendly (and baby friendly based on the presence of the Korean baby at the table next to us) at the same time. I recommend it as the best suburban Korean BBQ I’ve been to so far, and hope that as their success builds, they begin to offer an even more varied menu. Always, I hope it remains a secret door into Korean food culture that one can experience without the thirteen hour flight time. less

neomattlac   -   I have been going to this restaurant all my life. It's a staple of the area, or, at least, it used to be. When I was a kid, they had good diner style food and pretty decent prices. The waitresses were always nice, and service was great. Since then though, they have risen their prices, their food quality has gone down and the service is decent, at best. It's fine if you just want a quiet place to eat and talk, but not worth having a night out at. Their soup is obviously canned, the steaks too thin to enjoy, and the toast is usually cold. I do have to give them this though; the country fried steak is good, they cook eggs perfectly, and, if you catch it just right, the grilled cheese is delicious. Ask for a slice of tomato and a slice of Swiss cheese on it. less
