Not only is the food delicious, but the staff seemed to really enjoy working there. It shows in the way they interact with each other and with the tables. The food is so good that you eat everything on your plate. But the best thing is that you don't feel weighted down like you do with American-Italian food. Everything is fresh. And it is so nice to see the owner talking to everyone. It made me feel comfortable and at ease. An overall enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back! less

On this visit, I wasn't overly impressed, but I definitely plan to visit again. Hefty prime ribs (close to 16ozs) were featured for $19.06. I like my steaks done extremely well. The chef relented and I had a wonderful prime rib with no pink. I was pleased. Wife ordered hers medium rare and found the steak to be on the tough side. She only ate about half of it (while I gloated). Perfectly cooked green beans, baked potato, and excellent bread accompanied the meal. Our waitperson, Clara, was of tremendous assistance. I give the experience a B- overall with a couple of admonitions. First, demand a table far from the restaurant entrance which adjoins the bar where over-served, middle-aged twits negotiate hook-ups in far too-loud voices. Second, expect a generic American menu. The only things "Southern" (as purported) OP1906 offers are fried chicken on a waffle and cheese grits. WARNING: If you have ever worried that you might be The Manchurian Candidate do not go to this Grill. For some reason, this "Southern" cuisine restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas is decorated with large face cards. Makes no sense, doesn't harmonize with anything at all. Very strange. less

Food is well prepared, very tasty, and served with professionalism that is efficient, but not overbearing. Great place to dine often. Be sure and get a KC Hopps point card and earn some free food. less

Not exceptional, but a nice local restaurant. The marina sauce stands out - robust and well spiced. A good place for a business lunch or a quiet date.

Be sure to add fried okra! Family members are also impressed with the pickelus giganticus and the complimentary soft-serve ice-cream. When I go, I always see a tub of ValPak coupons, but they apparently only distribute them in the zip code where the restaurant is located. :( less

Nonetheless, the entrÃ©es are creative, well-prepared, and consistent. The Grilled Salmon is some of the best I've ever had. The Chicken Parmigiana is robust and generously portioned. The Spicy Chicken Alfredo is really outstanding. If you want to get your Sinatra on, go to Garozzo's. But I like the festive atmosphere of Zio's and the food is always appealing. less

I've never had a great meal there, but I've never had a bad one. Service has never been appealing. Waiters don't seem to know how to serve without "reaching over". Waiters also seem to be trained with a sense of over-importance. It's hard to relax when they approach the table and demand your attention regardless of what you are doing. Overall, Bravo's is typical of self-indulgent little suburbs like Leawood. The regular clientele seems to feel gratified with swirling, fawning, preening wait staff instead of real authentic, quality food. In reality, this is just Olive Garden with better flatware. Go to Zio's instead. less

They were a very good size and a generous portion - and absolutely tasteless. I had the Monday special, 12oz blackened strip steak. I like mine well-done and was served a lovely medium-rare plank. I sent it back, they microwaved it and sent it back out medium-well. "Blackened"? No chance. Apparently, blackened now means dusted lightly with Sam's Club Cajun seasoning. It was virtually tasteless, only a hint of anything peppery and certainly no where near the blackened method that was the rage in the 1980s. O'Neills would likely be a good place to go and enjoy a bottled beer. As for the food, probably a good idea to pass on by. less
