Culver's Frozen Custard
The prices aren't as cheap as Mcdonalds but the food is much better. The atmosphere is fun. The restaurant is clean. The staff is oh so friendly.

While the meat fell off the bone the sauce left a lot to be desired. It was doctored Open Pit Sauce. We each ordered a green salad for one of our sides and when I asked the waitress for crackers or bread she said she would bring me a bun used for sandwiches. I told her never mind. I ordered the baked beans for my second side and discovered they where doctored canned beans that left me wondering what other reviewers where raving about. My wife second side was onion straws that also where a real disappointment. The service left a lot to be desired. Normally I give all restaurants a second chance but don't see how I can do that for Wagners. It was worth the trip from Schererville only because I won't give Wagners another thought in the future. We realize they're primarily a bar but their prices rival restaurants that use linen table clothes and napkins and automatically serve you water and provide you with simple appetizers as a starter. Paper placemats would've been nice since who wants to put here utinsels on a bare table that may not of been properly disenfected. Finally the attitude of the hostess set the tone for the less the pleasant experience that it ended up to be. less

We go all the time because the food is soooo good. My favorite is the Spicy Chicken or Encrusted Filet. They have a great pizza too. My husband always gets the Zuppa and you have to try the Calamari its the best! less

Everything is obviously from a freezer box. I decided to give them another try after swearing to never return and ordered the gyros dinner. You'd think they would do this half way decent. I was wrong, it came out refrigerator cold and was all dried up looking like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week. Disgusting. **Oh and the Johnny K reviewer giving this place 5 stars at the top is the owners son Johnny Kouimonis. Talk about a joke. Avoid this place at all costs. You'd be better off in the freezer section at the grocery store. less

Anthony's chicken marsala is better than mine and I am asked for my recipe often. It's so good, it's even good the next day--the portions are large--so take it home. Meals come with soup or salad which are excellent but truly one of the best things is the fresh grilled variety of veggies, so good I eat them first. less
