My Grandpa Pork and Grandma Pat purchased it back in the late 40\\\'s. My Uncle Tom is no longer living, he died of cancer about 9 years ago. Anyway, The Ritz will always be alive in my heart. What a fantastic childhood I had! Not to mention I got my fill of the best onion rings ever every weekend! =) less

I just got on site to see if it is still in existence and was very disappointed to see it burned. I wanted to see if I could get ahold of Tom to ask about the Methodist Camp or where would be a good place to stay next summer. I now live in Phoenix, AZ. The family was always so cordial and friendly to us, Tom would come to the Methodist Camp and take us for boat rides. The food was always excellent, as was the service, and I don't think I've ever found as friendly a restaurant, not to mention the excellent steaks, since. This was back in the 1970's, early 80's. If anyone has any information about Tom, how I could reach him, or about the Methodist Camp, please respond. I know the Ritz will be missed by all. less

We finished eating and waited about 20 for the waitress to bring out bill. FInally I had to go ask for it. I was surprised when I was charged $24.00 for a small filet. I had just heard the waitress quote a price of $16.00 to the table next to us. Not sure why ours was so much more. All in all the food was alright and the service was lousy. I would'nt recomend this place. less

It is probably one of the best restaurants in Northwest Iowa. I really recommend this place. less
