The hostess are mostly average with customer service, so dont expect to be greeted with extreme aloha. The place can go from empty to packed in a matter of minutes. There is a nice sized bar, with plenty of flat screen tvs mounted. Its a modern environment. The cleanliness of it is pretty decent. The food comes fast and in grand proportions. There are mostly locals that frequent, few whites, even fewer blacks. Its a nice place to meet for a business meeting or date. There has never been a problem parking and I find the valet service to be pretty good, the guys are always amiable. Be prepared to pay, but it just may be worth it. less

Get the breakfast, not too bad and again its open all the time. Many times I have been blacked out drunk and woke up either in Anna Miller's or with a receipt from there in my pocket. The staff is friendly and I think they all want me. They know I like to party! I also like going there in the morning after drinking; the grease helps with the urge to vomit. Speaking of vomit, don’t get anything other than breakfast food. The other stuff sucks harder than that time my Uncle Don and I got drunk and got in a knife fight over what movie was better, "Short Circuit 2" or " Earnest Saves Christmas". Anyways...I recommend Anna Miller's for your after party dinner or hangover hangout. less

Just like my home back in the South, this place has cheap looking tables with an outside picnic tables. Except, here the weather is nicer and you don’t have to worry about my drunk neighbor coming over and passing out on your lawn. The staff is always friendly and slightly get me aroused with their "suggestive" slogans on the back of their shirts. The St. Louis style ribs are the best, get them wet. Also They have awesome burgers and crab legs. They feature a "Screaming" Mai Tai. When you order one, the staff and restaurant screams when you get one. I have not been yelled at that bad for drinking since i woke up drunk and my wife was yelling at me for peeing in the laundry basket. Thank you Dixie Grill for keeping me in touch with my southern side. less

When I first heard that there was a rickety van parked along the side of the road selling shrimp, I was a little hesitant to go. The last time I ate something out of a road side van I woke up in Gallop New Mexico with no cash, 32 stiches in my head, and a tattoo of the Autobots symbol. Giovanni's shrimp does not disappoint! The shrimp scampi is the best and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. They also offer a spicy shrimp, watch out though. I tried it and wow...I have not tasted something that hot since my drunken hillbilly parents made me and my cousin have a habanero eating contest. He won in a landslide but cried afterwards and couldn’t sleep for 2 days so I call it even. However, If you like it spicy, go for it. There is a big shaded area to eat and relax from your day in the sun. I highly recommend Giovanni's. less

I decided to order the chicken fajitas and the second they were put down on the table they were sizzling away!!! The taste, absolutely exquisite! The rice was done extremely well and the beans were mmm mmm good! The wait staff was great and was always on top of everything, very prompt with the food and beverages and everyone around seemed like they were having a great time. I just stopped in for a light dinner but this would definitely be a regular place for me! less

What I found out was the chicken (which was supposed to be deep fried) was previously cooked then refrigerated. I know this because when I bit into the chicken it was cold, refrigerator cold all the way to the bone. My wife had the Kalbi which she shared with me. Our waitress never returned to our table once she dropped off our food hence I could not tell her about my food. Once we were done eating, it took our waitress 21-minutes to come to our table (this was after we were done eating). Then she took 8-minutes to return our check to us. The saving grace was she took the chicken meal off of our bill. My wife and I agreed that the Kalbi sauce was way too sweet. I was watching the servers and noticed that they grabbed the food with their bare hands. I saw three of the waitresses grab the dinner rolls from the warmer with their bare hands. They adjusted the food on the plates with their bare hands. Will not return to this restaurant ever again. less

The quality & taste of the flan has really gone downhill and I suspect they're just using a powdered mix as the texture is no longer silky. We've stopped having dessert there. Then, tonight I asked to have (and these were my exact words) "just a LITTLE quacamole & sour cream on my plate". The server did NOT bother to point out that my plate would come with some sour cream & ask if I desired more than that. He also did NOT tell me I would have to order 2 full side orders since they "don't have" a smaller portion priced for adding as a condiment to your food. Instead, he just brought bowls that held between 1/4 & 1/3 cup of each. When I saw the outlandish changes of $3.75 & $4.25 on my bill, I pointed out I had only used about a tablespoon of each, and that is why I had told him "just a LITTLE". He should have mentioned I was going to be charged a total $8 for the two condiments!! In the past I had tipped almost 35% for excellent service, but tonight he was lucky to get 15%. So be aware that you'll be paying more than some of their sandwiches for a tiny bowl of quacamole & sour cream... They should have 1 size for people who ask for "a side order" (those who want to eat it with their salsa & chips) and a notice on the menu that if you request quacamole & sour cream to be added to your dinner plate (that most of us are paying about $13-15 for already), that there will be an additional $2.50. Having been restaurant management, I can tell you that they won't lose money adding 1 Tablespoon each for that price. And they'll have customers that don't feel they've just been greatly taken advantage of, as I was tonight! Since they've already got us bringing our own beer & margaritas, perhaps we need to also start bringing our own homemade quacamole & a nice big container of sour cream. Hey, I could even give them the receipt that shows I paid $2 for the sour cream!! less

Our guys were really hungry, so they got pizza next door while they waited. Soft tacos like we had in Sonora! Carne Asada had great flavor. Huge chicken burrito, too big to hold in your hands! Great menu, we'll be back! Good portions and prices. Also good selection of salsas on a side table. BYOB, stop in at Safeway. Lots of styrofoam, they could maybe serve the eat-in plates on paper, and no plastic knives to cut the burrito. less
