Its not a little neighborhood place-which I expected. It is a fairly big place with an eating/dining area. The cheesesteaks are very good and they don't skimp on meat. Tried a sausage sandwich which was half the price of a cheese steak and outstanding. I would list it in my top five cheesesteak places. I grew up in South Philly and this place is as good as any neigborhood place in Philly. less

This was the absolute worse experience I have ever had at this restaurant. My family and I have been coming to Lotsa Pasta for a family dinner every month for countless years, spending thousands a year or more. We have always enjoyed ourselves, the service and our meal, but tonite was a horrible exception. This evening we came in to celebrate a special occassion. When ordering we asked how much certain items were including the Surf and Turf and Lobster Scampi as prices were not noted on the menu. Our waitress, was difficult to begin with, almost making us feel she was doing us a favor bringing adequate silver ware and plates for our table. When the bill came we were charged much more for the lobster dishes than what she quoted even WITH the chef standing there speaking to us! When I questioned she said that the prices she stated were incorrect and not her problem. I spoke to the manager and he frankly didnt want to hear it or did he care. In fact, he asked us to leave. The waitress was rude, her service was poor and worse the manager was arrogant and did not care and effectively threw us out including a ninety year old and two eighty year old patrons. How sad. Not only was he rude but in an economy like this to throw out regular patrons who have been coming for over a decade and spending thousands of dollars each year. Their business must be doing well and I congratulate them. However, we will not be returning as the manager does not know how to manage and the waitress does not know how to waitress. I have no issue ever paying for what I ordered. I just like to know the prices and when told them appreciate them being accurate. I just wish your waitress was more careful, was more attentive and your manager really cared about customer service. less

The fresh bread is amazing and the prices are unbelievable...Homemade spaghetti with a meatball and a tossed salad for $4.99.the luncheon specials can not be beat! The staff are so welcoming! Ask for Robin on the weekends ..She is the BEST! She is the grand daughter of Mrs. Robino! I love to take my own container in to Robino's and have them fill it with homemade pasta and meatballs! I am stunned to see the number of suburban white customers brave the gangs and open air drug deals. You know it must be damn good fried chicken. It is. Best fried chicken north of the Chesapeake, I dare you to prove me wrong. The only competition is the other Walt's location (Walt's Express on North Lincoln Street). The juicy, mouthwatering fried chicken attracts customers from miles around. The perfect pressure fried and marinated chicken with delicious herbs and spices are to die for. Their specialty is fried chicken, but some of the sides are equally as good. The fries are average, but the homemade mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese are amazing. The desserts are fantastic too. I have only tried the oreo pudding and peach cobbler, but I was quite pleased. The prices were very reasonable too, and a full meal, complete with chicken, sides, drink, and dessert will cost you less than 10 dollars. less

In less than two minutes our server, Barb P., was at our table taking our drink order. Barb continued to be attentive, efficient and friendly during our entire visit. We placed our order and Barb brought it to our table, piping hot, in under 15 minutes. The order was exact even with a few extra requests. The portions were heaping and delicious. Crossroads Restaurant and their staff are to be commended on a wonderful meal. Crossroads has the charm, friendliness and atmosphere of a small town diner; although planted right in the middle of a large city. I will visit this restaurant at every opportunity and will definitely recommend it to my friends and family! less
