Sean N.   -   My thoughts go way back on this one, I only remember kind of because it was so long ago & have been there so infrequently except for a visit here & there to relatives in Walla2. I remember thinking like what a treat it was & they don\\\\\\\'t mess around with portion size, ingredients & all are certainly there, I remember the long wait, and yes it was worth it, also the kind of park-like setting (though that was just off the side street- another good feature of Walla Walla!) at dusk waiting for this yummy smelling food!! I recall my G\\\\\\\'ma Julia liked to get the Pastrami!??! & also the scotch-soda & the tall shakes sticking out over the top & amazed they could do that- I remember that distinctly- and I thought the shakes, burgers & all were delicious. And I like the descriptions now & the onion rings w/ tartar sauce, the different flavored shakes, crispy burgers made just so with the right amount of ingredients. My Mom said she used to work at the Iceburg in the early-mid 60\\\\\\\'s & this is where her & Dad first met!. I have been surprised of bad reviews and I see that other old favorites out there such as the 4-10 Drive In in Clarkston, Wa. where Mom also used to work they say that quality of the food has declined since those days but then I hear alot how those sizzling fries & all don\\\\\\\'t seem to be quite what they did then, maybe its more of a palate thing than realized & you notice the nostalgia never seems to wear out. At the 4-10 its also been a long time, when I was little, for me I sure enjoyed the curly fries & corn dogs w/ ketchup & plenty of mustard & a root beer! And, the jukebox playing the 60\\\\\\\'s & 70\\\\\\\'s tunes. At both places they say that since new management took over how its declined, at any \\\\\\\"rate\\\\\\\" for being an old favorite, and then there are always going to be the bad experiences, mistakes made & such, at times I read even mostly bad reviews then again other times mostly or all good & there sure are plenty of them. I haven\\\\\\\'t been there for many years so I really couldn\\\\\\\'t say exactly, either way except that good food certainly does comes to mind, I say an old favorite should be given a chance, and as for the real long lines & wait times (they say to call ahead or show up before dusk) while they have double drive-up windows they should still open another Iceburg there in town. I see they keep changing the date of when the place opened some even said the late 40\\\'s, others 1952, \\\'53 or \\\'58. It\\\'d be good to find some more information on it, as well as photos, I\\\'ve found almost nothing on it. less

Debbie8610   -   Terrible and rude service. We were told by our hotel 3 fingered Jacks is a heritage bar, but they were closed because of a "problem" in the kitchen. We walked by to find them open. We decided to try a drink. very rude server not even in a funny way, we loved Winthrop and the name of this place was very cute. Go elsewhere, there are so many great places. No need to be insulted by a waitress! i give this bar / restaurant a neg 5 go elsewhere! less

Lyndee W.   -   My boyfriend and I headed to Lake Chelan this morning for an impromptu mini-vacation since the weather was so lovely. We happened upon this new sushi restaurant in downtown Chelan. While I have used Yelp often to find reviews, I have never taken the time to write one before but after our lovely experience at Mizuumi, I wanted to make sure to get the word out on this great new place. The sushi chef, Jaime, was personable and helpful when choosing what we wanted to order. His restaurant is bright and cheery, spic and span and has great ambience...and the Bob Marley on the stereo added to the island vacation feel. Selecting which rolls to try was almost impossible but I went for the Tinkerbell roll which has crab and lemon sashimi. The lemon, cilantro and cucumber were amazing together! I also went for their namesake roll, the Mizuumi. It was salmon (my favorite!!) with asparagus, shitake mushrooms and cream cheese. I understand why it is their namesake...so creamy and buttery with the cream cheese, mushroom and salmon. It was only after we finished that I realized that also had some specials featuring blueberries from a local blueberry farm. We plan on checking that place out for breakfast tomorrow and might be back here for another meal before the weekend is over. After many, many sushi dinners in Seattle, we were shocked to have such an amazing meal in Chelan! less

Manager/Owner Kevin refused to remake or refund. Wouldn't come out to speak face-to-face. Kevin hid in the back behind his wait-staff. Restaurant is definitely NOT customer-friendly. POOR business ethics. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this establishment!!!! less
